What's the best rack out there, and where can I get it?

I thought that rack was going to be perfect. I used mine for only a few months until I noticed that the rollers were leaving tracks on the cloth.... in other words the rollers were wearing the cloth out. I got the Diamond rack after that.
I noticed the same thing, but it isn't any worse than standard break lines and the lines left by my standard practice routines. I've had my current cloth 3 1/2years, have been using the roll-a-rack the whole time, and they don't seem to effect play at all.
That said, I'm thinking about replacing it with that one above that is made by Diamond, the Club Rack.

There are some good racks out there. Thank God!
Has anyone seen the Gorilla Rack? It's awesome as well.

Racks

Haven't heard of the 'Gorilla' rack Jay. The 'Club' rack, now made by Diamond, was called 'The Texas Rack' for years because it is an oversized rack that allows you to get your fingers in behind the last row of balls.

I couldn't buy anything with that dumb background music in their demo video and even worse RED cloth. lol.

My cloth is burgundy 860.:p

The red cloth tells me that they are not pool players. $119 ..... what can I say. The Diamond, or the one in another post which is made by Diamond is a great rack for half the price.

Hey, you may not like Fast Larry, that's your choice, no problem.

However, the rack IS the nuts...

Some people like 9-ball racks; I'm not one of them.

That full size rack is the strongest rack I've ever seen.

FWIW, Fast Larry GAVE me one of these racks a few years ago. It is definitely well worth it at any price, and like Flex said, the strongest rack you will ever find. I highly recommend it - even if you have to order it from Larry.

Brian,
Your rack arrived today. It looks great and is very well made. I'll bring it over next month. I'm anxious to see your resort.

Excellent- thanks a lot!:)

Looking forward to meeting you next month (either in Samui or Bangkok).

Brian,
I got your rack and I'll be in Samui with my entourage on Monday morning at 8:50. We need 3 rooms for 4 nights. Nice ones. I'll bring my cue.

I'm looking forward to meeting another AZ'er and checking out your resort. I tried to call you today. No answer, so I left a message.

See you soon.

I like Diamond's rack the best. And you can get that right here in the good ol' US.

I agree with you. That big heavy Diamond rack takes a lot of abuse. Sometimes the one ball sticks to the wood up at the top of the rack but I guess it needs to be cleaned from time to time.

Hope So

Can you give a review after you receive this rack, it looks like NASA designed it.

The thing looks super cool. Hopefully we can try it when I deliver it.

Absolutely- looking forward to it.

Tuesday night will work out great for me- you and your friends/mom are welcome to come by the house and we'll shoot a few racks (though as a relative newbie I ain't gonna be much competition:p ).

A good friend of mine gives lessons in Bangkok. His name is David Dennison. He is known in the NYC pool community, as he lived there for years, and still goes back sometimes. He would definitely improve your game.

I can show you some basics on Tuesday night. I'll have to see how you play.
