Whats the best this, Whats the best that, Oh my God!!!!!!!!!!!

OK lets settle "Whats the best"
Rolex watches
Mercedes Benz cars
Wild Turkey bourbon (this I will not relent on)
Szamboti cues
Sony televisions
Bose speakers
Mag lite flashlights
AK 47 assault rifle
If this does not end this thread it could get interesting

Um you are kidding about the Bose right?

No highs no lows, must be Bose!
Better sound through marketing.

Bose speakers are quite literally junk.

Oh and don't get me started on Mag lights lol :D

I play with a Lucasi so what should I know about speakers?:D
I don't even have Bose speakers I have Polks.
But I do have a Mag light flashlight and it has lasted way longer then the plastic ones I've had.

I do like to have people personal opinoins though.. based on cues, tips, shafts, ext... i know it all comes down to one's personal shooting feel/abilities, but.. when people post specs of a certain feel or so.. i helps me out in the long run.. cuz i know what i like and how the cue should feel in my own hands when hitting a ball.... so with peoples opions i can judge on how i would like a product...

Never owned a Rolex, G Shock works for me. BTW: My Navy Seal buddy said his team was given some Rolex watches and they wear the Casios instead(I suppose if your life depends on it). My greedy employer likes to brag about how much he paid, while paying me sh*t, so I hate them.

I can't stand Bourbon. I love Scotch(Macallan please)

To each his own with cues..

I worked at a high end dealership with ex Mercedes employees who said the logic employed in their construction defied.....logic. I prefer BMW

I own the last....best.....CRT ever produced((Trinitron XBR 36 inch) and it can give most flat panels the seven.

I reviewed 3 surround sound systems in my house when I was younger (Bose, Polk, Cambridge Sound Works) and Bose was easily the worst. I have yet to met an experience audiophile who gives them any respect either.

Maglites were the standard, but sort of fell behind the likes of Surefire ect. The way the rubber buttons for the switch like to go MIA takes them off my high end list anyway.

AK47 probably the best tried and true assault weapon of the 20 century.

At the end of the day it makes no difference whether you spend a $200 or $2000 on a cue its all subjective, same goes for tips and shafts.Every one will have had there own experience of whats best.its what feels right to you.
there isn't any magic cue out there. IMHO it really doesn't matter what you use, as long as you put in the practise!
Thats what will make the difference:wink:

Stagnant water

Let's get real man won. Damm near 11000 posts!! How many of those posts were your very best opinions? It's a FORUM!! I get your point though. Like everything else everything is a trade off. There is no best anything. Just yanking your chain a little bit. But never forget this. A man without an opinion is like stagnant water, he breeds reptiles of the mind!!

Best boat in the world

Hands down, without a doubt the best boat in the world is your buddies boat!! Anybody going to argue about this?

A high end Citizen or equivalent brand keeps just as good of time as a Rolex.
Mercedes cars are nice until they break. Price the parts.
I like (really like) Wild Turkey, but I find Makers Mark a better bourbon.
Szamboti cues father or son - no arguing here.
There is no such thing as a good TV anymore. Hasn't been for more than a decade.
Bose speakers are great if you also let your wife adjust your EQ because you are tone deaf.
Mag lite flashlights are the best that you can find in every store known to mankind.
The AK 47 is great if you have no American pride. I prefer the M1 garand...

As a former Marine and Viet Nam veteran that has trained with the M16-M1 and M14 rifles and was on the receiving end of the AK47 I will tell you this. The M1 is a fine weapon but if your platoon has M1's and mine has AK47's you will have no chance of winning simply because the AK47 platoon will achieve fire superiority and that is the key to all fire fights.

]Whats the best this, Whats the best that, Oh my God!!!!!!!!!!!
I agree but there are some parameters that can help you decide in buying cue... if you know what is best for your game than you know for example how much deflection , stiffness ,what balance , what amount of english you want your cue to have...

Lately there are so many questions concerning what is the best, Cue, Tip, Shaft, Case, and on and on!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

People you must understand one very simple thing there is no best, only what works good for you personally. When some one starts a thread and asks what is the best item, they are going to get a number of Opinions. However, these opinions are baseless and do not apply to the individual who asked the question, only to the person who gave the opinion.

Please understand that the only way anyone can find the best for themselves is to experiment with different cues, different tips, and different shafts yourself. Now I understand that this can become very expensive, however, it is the only way to find out how these items will work according to your abilities.;)

Last and very important, none of these items are going to be the final answer to making you play to the next higher level. These items are only tools which will work to your personal ability, increasing your knowledge through practice and possibly taking lessons from an experienced teacher will do more for you than any of these items. Just remember that there is no easy way to become a better player and in the end your ability will always be based on your ability to learn, to retain what you have learned, and your ability to apply what you have learned in a practical manner

Rant off!!!!!:)

Whats the very best table brush?

JV (---------merry x-mas........ :)

What's the best way to get more people to pick-up a cue( any freakn kind) turn-off their cell( iPod,etc) and get busy playin? Inquiring minds need to know. MerryXmas

IMHO there is no MAGIC CUES, TIPS, JOINTS, OR OTHER STUFF. The person who hands the Cue is in make the Magic be it House Cue, or FULL IN BLANKS!
