What's the longest ahead set you've ever seen/heard of?

Minnesota Fats claimed he had the longest session ever played...
...he beat the man for twenty seven thousand...
..."Mind you," he said, 'The table time came to twenty thousand."

I miss the Fat Man

Years ago I played this guy in Denver for 41 hours, out in Aurora on a bar table. We started at $50 per game and ended up at $800 per game. When all was done I won $19,000. I was so "punchy" at the end I could not even talk.
I went home Monday mo9rning and went to bed. My partner called me around 4 pm, woke me up and an hour later, we drove the 800 miles to las Vegas. When we finally got there, I slept for like 18 hours.
I feel that way now after about 8 hours of play.

I'm 56 and played a guy, that was 65, 1 hole betting high for 52hrs, no breaks except for bathroom.

My personal longest game was some guy I played $5 9-Ball with for 36 hours, and never raised the bet. I won over $400 and the table time was about $60 (the owner gave me a break). I was maybe 24 years old and could play forever back then. I went home and slept for 14 hours and got up and went back to the poolroom to celebrate.

I think 24 or 25 hours was the longest I played one person. That was 14.1 race to 100-125. I did that many times. The table time was no big deal...I owned the joint. Johnnyt

I took 60 hours to get 5 ahead at full-rack snooker once....
...I didn't feel so bad.

But I gambled once in Vegas for 3 days...then drove to Frisco.
...I was a vegetable by the time I got to Frisco.....
...mind you, I didn't exactly stand out in Frisco in those days...
...there were a lotta vegetables there...

i saw J Cooney VS 'Rooster' at Lambert's in Baton Rouge play 30-36 hrs straight. I know at one point one of them was down 17 games (9 ball one pocket) They came back to even or close and then they threw in the towel iirc.

sorry-just reread title-this was not an ahead set-$300 game

Longest I heard without breaks was freight train Stevens playing for 75 hours, and after he won he tried to get into another game
