Flaherty vs Cooney, One-Pocket, 8-ahead, 2 out of 3 sets. Eleven days later, it was over.
Years ago I played this guy in Denver for 41 hours, out in Aurora on a bar table. We started at $50 per game and ended up at $800 per game. When all was done I won $19,000. I was so "punchy" at the end I could not even talk.Minnesota Fats claimed he had the longest session ever played...
...he beat the man for twenty seven thousand...
..."Mind you," he said, 'The table time came to twenty thousand."

I miss the Fat Man

I went home Monday mo9rning and went to bed. My partner called me around 4 pm, woke me up and an hour later, we drove the 800 miles to las Vegas. When we finally got there, I slept for like 18 hours.
I feel that way now after about 8 hours of play.

How much was the tab for table time?
