In all games, what's the amount, and the most you've played for?

Played a single game of 8ball for $1,500 (after getting up $1,500) and won
Played a few sets of 9-ball over the $1,000 mark.
Biggest score to date: $4,000 (3,000 in 8-ball, $1,000 in poker - same guy)
Biggest Tournament Win: $1,000 - Florida Seminole bar-box 9-ball tournament. I got 3rd (lost to Cory Deuel hill-hill!!!) and then got 5th in the follow-up (two tournaments, one non-Seminole, one mixed).

On the negative side, I have $1,100 in the AIR (people shot air barrels at me) right now.

I also lose, a lot, but I'm not going to talk about that right now... :(

How did you win 1300 playing 200 a game onepocket?
 
$5 entry fee in a local bar 8 ball tourney...I didn't win, but had a great time playing & B.S.ing... just a social player here. If it stops being fun, I quit playing.
 
I lost

I lost 5 racks of one pocket at $2000 per...I then quit after that. I finished $7600 up. I kept getting ahead, a little at a time, and then I fell into trap of giving up too much weight.

the 1p started off at 20, went to 75, went to 100, went to 200.. I lost like 3 racks - I'm not sure how much we were betting when I lost those 3. However it works I came up $1,300 and played a few games $200 a game.
 
I have played lots of 8 ball games for $50 to a $100 a rack,most i have played for was a $200 set of 8 ball and a $200 game of 14.1.Poker is another story,i played for 7 hours winning $6000,those are my best scores.
 
I was skeptical when someone told me they taught math in Kentucky, but now I'll believe anything.

The most have always been sessions where the guy was trying to get even. After going up $200 playing $50s, I played the final two sets for $200 and walked-out up $600.

I know that doesn't seem like much but you wouldn't believe the the nits that roam the city.
 
The only reason I checked this thread out was to see if I was right about no old scuffs or players answering this question. I knew or was pretty sure, Jay, Freddy, JAM/Keith, John Henderson, Humphrey, John Schmidt or any of the nowaday players would truthfully answer the question. Might be interesting but thus far nada.

The most I've ever played for is $2K per game 9 ball.

Oh to hear from above what the most money Cornbread ever played for or from us the living, Jack Cooney. It is amazing how much money was gambled per game in the 70s compaired to sets today.
 
I won a 5 ahead match for $200 yesterday...........a hundred a game 3 times, 2 times nine ball, and once 8-ball, I ran out all 3 games :D Man Did I get nervous lol.
