What way would you go to hit the 2
Yep, this... best chance at tying something up or maybe even getting lucky and returning the favour.Short rail to long rail and hope you don't scratch.
Good chance of a scratch, lousy option at best.
Maybe a jump shot but the scratch is still there.
And it's a race to 9 and He is on the hill.
That's what I had in mind, if you go the short rail and catch the 2 good, you may even get the hook, the 2 was far enough past the pocket to avoid the scratch that way. The way he went is odds on to scratch even if he hits it, he ended up hitting the point.Short rail to long rail and hope you don't scratch.

I like this. If you hit the top of the 2 you could get safekick to the long rail 1 rail to the 2
Im not sure that is even available. It looks like the 8 might have that shot hooked. The "unusual spin" is so unpredictable, so I would rule that out. Shooting the short rail if tough because 1. you are close to the rail 2. You can't cue easily, but I would still consider the shot and maybe with a bridge. One rail kick from the long rail makes sense, but you must hit the lower half of the ball to avoid the scratch. Because of the game situation, a clean hit is the most important thing. My final decision (if I were him) would be to jump and make a good hit. Letting the balls fall where the may.JJ was suggesting two rails around the 9 which looks like the better path to me even if he needs a little unusual spin.

That's would be my best chance at making contact. Problem I have with that is the speed would be a 60% sellout. I like the opposite direction wheel of fortune with solid contact and at least a coin flip of a good roll.I like going the way his stick is lined up now, soft. If you catch the 2 ball thin, he will be safe behind those other two balls near it. Yes the scratch is big, but the reward is good, and the other paths don't really look any better to me.
That doesn't look remotely possible to me from this screenshot.JJ was suggesting two rails around the 9 which looks like the better path to me even if he needs a little unusual spin.
Reverse english. Ball bends more off the long and reverses off the bottom. Same shot head rail first would soften the requirements. All about familiarity. Be fun to master these angles if you're so inclined. That doesn't look remotely possible to me from this screenshot.

I think he would have to masse around the 8 to achieve that. That doesn't look remotely possible to me from this screenshot.
