When Efren pushes out - don't give it back

Is that a black dot "measle" ball or is the color off on the video?
It is the video.

Also, not one of Efren's best, I'd say. He did not want the nineball to drop, even though he aknowledged the possibility. (Or if he did want the nineball to go, then he took a serious gamble, since the 2ball was not going anywhere).

Please do not tell me he was going for the 2-10 carom while he pushed... even for Efren, that is just ridiculous.

How far into the video does Efren's "push" occur? At the beginning of this clip Efren's opponent pushes out and Effren tells him to shoot.

I tried to edit the video to the start time but I guess it didn't work.

At the end of the video in Tagalog he said he got lucky. Some people probably believe that.

As I understand it they were playing call-shot, and he called both the 9 and the 10.

Love the thread title. Of course, the flip side of the coin is that when Efren pushes out, you should give it back because you might just learn something.

He intended for the 9-ball to go. He decided which side pocket. It's hard to tell what he was trying to do with the cue ball but you can see from his reaction that it didn't do what he wanted it to. And he may not have been planning to shoot the 10-ball that way but anytime the 10-ball is that close to the next object ball when Efren is shooting it's "on". Wu should have taken the shot for that reason alone.

While none of us can truly know his intentions, I have a strong suspicion that he just got bad shape on the 2 after making the 9. However, he did come with a great shot, and I am fairly certain that the vast majority of members on this site would

A. Not have seen the shot
B. Not have been able to make it if they did see the shot.

Well you have to call it even though you don't know if it'll drop, in 10ball there is no use NOT calling a ball
well.

True, but calling 2 is generally not advisable; coz then the shot requires making both.

Imagine how good he'd be, if he be as smart as meeee!!! :slap:
