Look nobody on here has ever said Donny cant play the game. He has proven he knows what he is doing on the table.
The thing I have ever had a complant with is everytime he calls someone out its either you got to come to flordia and play rack your own 9-ball. Everyone knows your the best racker in the world. So if you wanna call yourself 1 of the top 5 americans in the world(which you might be) step up and play someone.
I mean play someone 9-ball,10 ball or whatever race to 100 for whatever with a nuetral racker. The problem now lies that donny wont play that game.

I'm not trying to start anything or make a game. I really don't care about it and I have nothing to prove. However, people don't flock to my door looking to play either...
If he can drive from flordia to the us open he can drive to meet someone half way to match up. right? Hes got alot of cars he should be able to find 1 that will make it.

I live in the same area as Donny and have seen him play for many years! One thing I've noticed is that his game skyrocketed a couple years ago. He was always a good player, but he's now being noticed as a great player who can hold his own with just about anyone.
Do people on these forums have short memories? Probably.
Is Donny a top 5 player like someone stated? I dunno.
All I know is Donny's playing like a top pro and seems to have a good work ethic. He's a hot player right now and as long as he keeps it up, he'll continue to finish high and match up with the best. Props to Donny's game. He's playing great right now!

I play rack ur own and rack for each other. It's just that rack for each other can be a pain.
Can you tell us how long you've been playing? How did you get hooked on pool?
Also you played super at the Open. How did YOU feel about how you played? Did you sense something special in your game last week?

I got hooked on pool around june of 1994. I started playing at family billiards in clearwater fl. When I first went in there this guy marco was the best and I wanted to play just like him. So 2 years later I finally started beating him.
I didn't play much summer of 1997 through january of 2001 because I was more into work and picking up girls lol. 2001 I started playing a lot and that is when richie rich moved here. Back then richie was giving me the 7 and after a year or two I started beating him even. Then from 2003 to 2006 I got a little better, and then corey deuel moved here and my game jumped up a little more.
Last week I felt really good. My first couple matches I didn't feel that good because the cloth was new and sliding and I wasnt confident where my cueball was going.
My match with on the tv table with ralf I wasn't very comfortable because the tv table plays a lot different than the other tables. It took a little while to get used to it.
I think playing in florida is tougher because of the humidity which makes the tables boing and the pockets a little tighter.
I just can't get over the cueball going 3 rails in the side after I made the 8ball... Would've been 8-4 instead of 7-5 against mika.
