That really was a great win. She has never appeared to me on par with the top players.

Hey Petey, Ewa and Belinda Calhoun were both in Shore Thing practicing on the new 9 foot Diamond before they left, it was awesome.

Congrats to Ewa on here win. Coastal Carolina is very proud of her. She deserves it and many more. She does so much for pool and pool players down here. She's cleaned up the Apa here and she is just a super nice person. Glad to know her and Mitch. Ron
 
HOT DIGGITY DAWG!!! Ewa is and has been the first lady of pool for a long time. She is as talented as she is beautiful, what a woman!!:thumbup:
 
A great moment for women's pool and, I'm pleased to say, for a very close friend. Well done, Ewa.

To my knowledge, Robin Bell Dodson's win at age 41 was the previous record for oldest champion in a WPBA nine ball event. Ewa, who certainly looks younger than 41, is not and takes over the spot as oldest champion.
 
I watched her match yesterday against Jasmine and she really looked great. She seemed really comfortable and her ball p pocketing skills were center cup. Glad to see she is able to continue today.

Wow. She beat Jasmin Ouschan, Ga Young Kim, and Allison Fisher in a row to win the title. Her draw was a little easy in the beginning but damn, that is strong at the end. Well-deserved win.

As pointed out by Harold Simonsen on Facebook.. Ewa is most likely the only grandmother to win a WPBA event since the inception of the Classic Tour :)

I'm just so tickled for Ewa, her game's been getting sharper and sharper these past couple of years, and I knew it'd be just a matter of time before she won a tour stop. Bien Fait, Ewa!

Congratulations to EWA on a great win! I remember her playing years ago, something to see, and not just her play. I think it is great to see an ex Champion give a little spanking here and there!

Congratulations to a classy person in a classy field.

As a newby, one of the first books I bought was Ewa's, "The Complete Idiot's Guide to Pool and Billiards". Excellent, complete, and well-written. I still go back to it often. I would recommend it to any newby.

I'm not positive that Ewa is the oldest or the first grandmother to win
a WPBA tournament.....
..but I am positive that she is the most beautiful.....
