Where to play in Las Vegas

Well, I've been wanting to get back to Vegas but now I have a reason! May would be a good time, how's attending the end of the World Pool event and the beginning of the 10 ball tournament sound? That would be the excuse for going.

But the reason for going is definitely to play on the 9' Diamonds. I've not played on one yet, The LV Cue Club sounds like a good place to hang my hat but I definitely want to stop at Pool Sharks and Mickeys to play the Diamonds.

if you want serious action and the best players, it's Las Vegas Cue Club.

It looks like a shithole in a pretty sketch shopping center, but what good pool hall doesn't?

They've got semi-pro to pro level talent there on a nightly basis... i know, cuz I got my shit worked in a small tournament there

The three main rooms mentioned in LV, Cue Club, Pool Sharks and Mickeys are all very good. Wed. night at Mickey's has a pretty strong weekly tournament although I cannot imagine it will go on during the BCAPL time frame. There is quite a bit of action at both Pool Sharks and the Cue Club. I like both, but I have to admit personally, I like the higher lighting and the two 9' Diamonds at Pool Sharks. The staff at all three are knowledgable and fantastic.

Yes, take the bus from Fremont to the Riviera. Also, the Riv. just recently lowered their price for the BCAPL room block to $85 (down from $101).

To answer the question about the AZB room, I am not sure. I will forward this thread to Mike H. and see if he can jump in. I know he's been busy with streaming the WPBA RT Championship.

We at CSI look forward to seeing all of you and be safe and well.

well, i just changed my hotel, now i will stay at the sahara instead of the plaza hotel. i guess that?s way better and not downtown, should be safe then. also it?s closer to the riviera....

Sascha, we booked our rooms at the Circus Circus, across the street from the Rivierra. $53 a night I believe. Can anyone tell me how far the Cue Club is from the Rivierra.

Best place to play in Vegas....

I've played at a couple of places in Vegas but none hold a candle to one I played at on Sunday.

It happens to be one of the most exclusive pool clubs in the world and on any given day there's no telling what champs, past and present, will be playing there.

It's porbably also one of the most expensive pool clubs, but costs nothing to join, if you know the right people.

If you happen to be an AZer, you may well get a chance to play there too....

If you don't know what I'm talking about then you might not be a very frequent AZer.....

and Bobby if you read this, I'm gonna practice some one pocket and play you some more, but you gotta play me a little nine or ten ball next time too....

I mean, I had to run out that one rack that I beat you, which means I don't know one hole any where near good enough to be playing someone your speed.... maybe we can play eightball, that's kinda in between?????

unless you want to give me 11-5 ????? J.K.....
