Which Bonus Ball team is the favorite to win on paper?

Which team do you think will win it all?

With the WPBL Bonus Ball teams announced for the upcoming season I was wondering which team everyone thinks has the best chance of winning it all..... remember to take into account the team aspect as well as the mix of all games 8 ball, 9 ball, snooker, one pocket and straight pool that make up this game..... also the fact that each team will play 22 regular season matches 2 against each team..... leading up to the 8 team playoff.

I picked the Atlanta Scorpions because of Johnny Archer's lead in Bonus Ball experience, and because of Shannon Daulton's experience in one-pocket, and because of Dennis Hatch's experience in 14.1. It's a very balanced team.

There are a ton of good teams and I think it will come down to the last week before a few of the 8 play-off teams are determined. My crap-shoot:

1) Atlanta

2) Chicago

3) Philly

8 of 12 teams get into the playoffs?

the Atlanta Scorpions are probably the strongest team, the New York Pride probably the most exciting to watch because of Larry Nevel and Strickland, Kiamco is a great player too.

I think we need a secondary poll to decide what the line is on Nevel and Strickland making it through the season without killing each other.

I went with Las Vegas because Schmidt and Davis are strong 14.1 players. If I had to put money on it, however, I'd buy a lottery ticket instead. :)

One thing that I really noticed in our first professional event, Bustamante was a powerhouse at this game. Nick Varner was also impressive. That tells me that One pocket and Banking players are going to really shine.

Im going to say that Atlanta will be very, very good but the Toronto franchise will do very well too. Morra and Klatt are both going to play strong and Erik Hjorleifson took down Shane Van Boening in our exhibition series so that team has potential.

Favorite: Atlanta Scorpions and Phoenix Flames.

How can any team really not have a chance? It is a very short season and like other sports, our play-off session will make it very hard to predict a winner. I will really enjoy watching to see what happens! Finally a league of our own professional players to cheer on! I'm excited about that!

There are so many teams with good players that this is really hard to choose but if I had a gun to my head I would have to say Philly..... a lot of fire power there and I think they will work really well as a team.... Also at the orientation camp in May.... Darren was probably the most impressive to watch play...IMO

WPBL (Bonus Ball) Schedule?

Does anyone know where a full WPBL (Bonus Ball) schedule can be found?

Much of the WPBL website at http://www.wpbl.tv is still under construction, including the full schedule but a player recently informed me that one of their stops conflicted with the upcoming Turning Stone Classic XX 9-Ball Open which is scheduled take place on January 10-13, 2013.

I also checked the Bonus Ball website at http://www.playbonusball.com but did not see scheduling information listed.

If there is indeed a conflict, I’m wondering if Bonus Ball and the WPBL are aware of it?

Most of the players listed above regularly compete or have competed at Turning Stone and it would be a shame if they are unable to attend because of a scheduling conflict.., and I would think that the free live stream at Turning Stone would not be good for the WPBL (Bonus Ball) pay-per-view.

Below you will find our schedule for that time period. Any player wishing to attend your tournament can and will be granted leave. They will be replaced by an alternate. All of our PPV can be watched by Video on Demand so that should not interfere with your streaming content.

How much will the PPV be? And will there be package deals? How long do you estimate the average match to last? Will our only option be to watch it live, or will it be archived?

Thanks in advance!

Both live and archived for video on demand.

Average match is 2.5 hours.

Price is $9.95 per week (6 matches), or $169.95 for the entire regular season. It's about $1.50 a match I think.

Much of the info is available at wpbl.tv :)

Why would you want to force your players and alternates to choose by scheduling these Bonus Ball events at the same time as Turning Stone?.., I would think many of these players would want to play in both events.
