Which Pro and Why?

We have a few top level (Pro) players that contribute and frequent the forum but if you could have one person contribute on let's say a weekly basis who would you want it to be and why?

The "ask a pro" section is dead and it wouldn't be necessarily to pick their brain just to hear story's about tournament wins, playing for the cheese, or great road stories. I think Jays stories, comments and knowledge bring so much life to the forum and it would be great to add another "Phenominal story teller" to the mix.

Mine would be Earl.......Not for the comic relief but to hear about winning the US Open, Million Dollar Challenge, World Championships, gambling and road stories, funny crap that happened along the way, etc.

I love Jay's stories. Billy Incardona would be a good one too. I always liked John Schmidt as well.

Ok, I should have said this. Try to pick someone who isn't an active forum member. JKBY is and I appreciate every time he posts. He's by far the best banker in the world right now and provides good info.

Heres another good one I'd like to hear stories from.....Tony Watson
After playing for the cheese since a very early age I'm sure he's got some good ones to share.

''The Beard''

Gotta give it up for my main man''Freddy'',,,his merchandise is top notch,,,

If you don't have your ''Toledo Joe'' dvd yet,, go get it,,,like Freddy says''You can thank me later'',,,,,,,,,,,Alan,,,,,!!

I would like to see Alex Pagulayan...He's funny and pretty intelligent, it would be nice to hear his thoughts on things.

Keith. He was on the road so young and so long hes gotta have some good stories. Plus in his day he was practically unbeatable.

I would like to see all pros and top recognised players, be able to post in all threads except NPR with the ability to ask mods to delete any posts they don't like , for whatever reason.
Maybe that would stop them from being run off by people who like drama.
It would be nice to ask a serious question and have several qualified opinions.
If I could only have one Buddy Hall, because he has a lot of great answers.

I would have to say Earl Strickland. Think of him whatever you wish, but he is a pool playing genius.

Stevie has some pretty good stories and he's from "home" so I'm biased....but I could listen to Earl all day....He's a effin rockstar hahah.

Mine would be Earl.......Not for the comic relief but to hear about winning the US Open, Million Dollar Challenge, World Championships, gambling and road stories, funny crap that happened along the way, etc.

Earl would get torn apart on this forum, he has alot of fans here but there are alot of people on here who can't stand him and are not at all afraid to say just what they think about him.

Very few pro's manage to stay here and be part of the forum while keeping their cool. Chris Bartrum is IMO an exception to the general rule. Schmidt was here, he got into it alot and finally left. Donny Mills posts here abit but he has gotten into some pretty good arguements.

Billy I is actually fairly active on the forum but spends most of his time in the Action Room, which if you think about it makes perfect sense for a guy like him.

IMO we lost quite abit when Keith cut back his posting to a bare minimum, he has as many cool stories as anyone out there and boatloads of knowledge about the game.

If we got another pro posting here I would have to pick someone with a fairly thick skin or a reputation of pure gold. Efren or Ralf would be just fine here because they lack drama and anyone who went after one of them would get reamed out by 99% of the forum for doing so. Other players would have to have the demeanor of Chris which kind of mirrors the demeanor of this forum in general, he handles himself well here in debates due to a sense of coolness and not taking stuff too personally, unlike what happend to Schmidt where he took things way too personally and made some posts that I am guessing he would have liked to take back the next day.

depends for what

for advice, my pick would be buddy hall.

for entertainment, probably earl, but i'm sure it would get old quickly.
if i could pick a non-pro it would definitely be joe rogan.:thumbup:between stories about the mma world, comedy, pool, and the world according to him as he see's it......i'd be glued here:grin-square:
