Did you eat mushrooms with your breakfast this morning?
I think you are confusing the words popular and worst.

Meditate on that for a minute.

Keep it up haters .I love it .

I am public enemy number #1.

No hate here, Walt. I love the action your threads get. You do get 'em riled up.

I like a guy that knows he's more full of s%$# than a Christmas turkey!

All I know is if we ever match up, it's postie toasties and I won't turn my back on the table. But, that's no different for anyone else I don't know or haven't played before.

Always entertaining, bud! Keep it up!

Thanx man!!

Finally a guy smart enough to see what I have been doing all this time .Good Rep for you bruh.

I have never dumped in the history of pool. My wife and ex-girlfriedns hate playing with me because the max game runs 2 innings unless safeties are played then they hate those. I play the sport to have fun and get better. It is a challenge. I don't go around looking for action as there is not enough money in pool to waste my time there anyway, but if someone comes up to me and asks to play a set it is rarely turned down.

man aint that the truth lol. In business the main times i can think of that i got screwed over, it was someone telling me how honest they were first, now to me its a major warning signal. In the past ive owned alot of rental property, ive cut way back but you know who was always the very worst renters? That person who was telling me how religious they were and how they goto church every sunday.....those people always ended up being the partiers, drug dealers, etc etc etc. It got to the point that i immediately trashed the application just as soon as they left. If youre honest, people will figure it out on their own, no explanation needed.

So true. I was a landlord for many years and the people that always came on with the hardsell about how great they were always turned out to be the biggest deadbeats ever. Fourtunately I busted out most of them on the rental qualification process or "had another tenant" lined up already. Got burned on that once..lesson learned:eek: :)

All of those reasons can be generated in your head, just like a crackhead giving himself legit reasons to steal from his own mother.

Action has been on life support in my town for a while and it's because of all the "business", whether it's cutting someone up, sharking, moving the coin twice etc...

A few guys from out of state came for a good tournament we were having. Our local stakehorse promised these above shortstop players action if they showed up and he delivered. He staked a couple local guys against them and lost a few thousand even though they had little chance if any. They then talked him into staking them against another guy from the state (who came with his own money) and he lost many thousands on them. The next week the same guys were in that players hometown and won all the money from his stakehorses but were betting their own money. Later the stakehorse found out it was all business and he almost never comes to the pool hall anymore. He could afford losing the money with no problem but why would an honest guy just looking to gamble want to deal with these kinds of people? Now he just goes to Vegas and plays poker online...

Walt Frazier reminds me a whole bunch like drivermaker & jimbo. All 3 of them like to mouth off & then when you prove they are a pathetic liar they lose all credibility. They all try to talk as if they have been around pool but when it comes down to it, the world they live in just happens to be made up in their head. I wouldn't be at all surprised if Walt & drivermaker are one and the same. Someone do an IP search and let me know.

I dumped my backer about a week ago. He was in for $5.50 per set with a race to 7 and he wanted 80%. I also dumped a backer about two years ago. He was in for $18.75 per set with a race to 5. He also wanted 80%. And he wanted me to pay fo the table time. No way am I gonna give up to heavy end of the bet.

From now on I only back myself. :)

Walt, on that list of bad things you wrote about the person you dumped, if one of them was "Would kill or become very violent if he found out someone dumped $20", would you still have dumped? There are people out there that would sever someone's limb if they found he dumped a small stakes action game.

The old and now closed poolhall I learned to play pool in for a couple years, had quite a few people in there that liked to stake others or sidebet on matches, but most of them were extremely violent individuals. Needless to say, I've never dumped a match. I wouldn't risk my life or well-being over money.

This guy is kind of like Fast Larry Guninger..........on crack.

I will admit though....Larry made it certainly lively around here, and so does this guy. Larry didn't last long (although The Woim has been behaving himself...so maybe he's changed his ways?). Anyone want to take bets on a timeline before this guy is kicked off?

Let's recap walt,tony, tony green, _ _, frazier

OK Walt, let's recap. You challenged me to play at the tourney. You claimed you were coming with Mike Black so you definitely knew where the tournament was at. I accepted all terms as offered. When someone makes an offer and someone else accepts them it is a done deal unless someone then runs like a rabbit.

Next you claim all kinds of problems with Buffalo himself. When that is proven false then you whine about the tables. I'm sure anyone you talked to at Bayou that knew your game told you that you were donating when you came down to Buff's to play me.

I have been challenged to a match to settle a difference on this board twice. Both times I accepted and made myself available. That is fact for anyone to see if they care to dig. However when you set the terms to begin with and I agree to the terms as stated I am not letting you rewrite them later.

You issued a challenge. You then made many blatantly false statements, failed to honor your own challenge even after I offered an adjustment in your favor, and now tell everyone that you have no ethics and are proud of it. Do you really think I will show up at Bayou with a couple of dimes on me? You have never played for real money in your life and I know you aren't going to start now. Mugging someone might be your style but it surely won't be on a pool table!

Seems to be a pattern:

You challenged, I agreed to your terms, you ran like a rabbit.

You challenged Joey, he agreed to your terms, you ran like a rabbit.

The nicest name I know of for someone like you is "Keyboard Commando" You let your keyboard write checks your butt can't cover. I know you aren't coming to Buff's to play me, you aren't coming to Bayou to play me for $500 or $1000 sets, and nobody in their right mind is going to back you when you are trying to hustle that ten year old for his lunch money. Here is a tip for you, flip coins for his lunch money, you will have a better chance!

Your post make about as much sense as tits on a bull .. Not once did I ever confirm a match with you at Buff's ..I told you from the very beginning that I was not going to New Orleans to play at the Tourney ..And i even offered to play you at Jamie's place(to accomodate you)..But what do you do? ..You continue saying"what time are you coming to Buff's"..over and over..I guess somehow you have managed to subliminally alter the facts by your persistence on that locale..

Either way,you are nuts if you think that I will travel to Buff's to play you ..

You want to gamble with me? Come to Bayou and I'll play you ..That's it ,end of story ..and you can save all of that"walt frazier plays like crap" B.S. because it's obvious that it makes you feel better to try to one up me ..

You got action ..Bring your azz to Baton Rouge...PERIOD!

Liljohn, I don't like your avatar either!

First, guys, where's the love?

Secondly, LilJohn, I'd actually prefer the avatar better if the women weren't holding underwear on their thighs. Go to some porn site and find a close up of some young woman's very smooth rear end and use that one instead. If your avatar is mimicking the way men "drop their drawers" to "go nr 1", then I really hate your avatar.

It's just not kosher for a young woman to hold her underwear on her thighs while exposing her mellons in public... LOL! :D :D :D I almost couldn't type that last sentence because of the sheer silliness of the whole thing!

Both sexes like the smooth skin of a young woman's "backside"... I know but don't ask me how I know

Once upon a time there was a player who officially committed suicide. Most people including myself believe he committed suicide, but I know a guy who used to own a pool room who said the player would occasionally dump on a backer and he thinks that is what got him killed.

If you make a habit of dumping on a backer you should be aware that your next opponent and your backer could both be working together just to find out if you have been dumping.

And, in my opinion, a certain professional player should have his name removed from this thread unless the fool who mentioned his name wants to be responsible for what happens to him.

I have never done any business, and if you call me a liar and tell THE TRUTH about who/where you are, I will see if you'll call me a liar to my face.

I wouldn't even let my WIFE win a game when we were dating.. You thinking I am going to lose on PURPOSE for ANY reason?

Russ

Somehow when he was talking about dumping or losing on purpose I don't think he was referring to someone who loses a game on purpose to their girlfriend.

I guarantee you Russ no one on here thinks you ever dumped a backer.
