That's for real an incredible BOX-Cue

This is the fanciest Boxed Cue i've even seen. And yes it's mine.

Dear Jive,
You're dam right! This is definitely the fanciest Box Cue I ever saw in my life! That multi material cored High end Cue. With that very particulary form, the right balance point, that ghostjoint, the very well fitting handle form, that extremely figured natural and very exotic and noble fir wood forearm, handle, buttsleeve and buttcap and finally all these large brown stained original SCOTCH tape overlays! I just can't stop raving about that cue…BUT HEEEEY… where the hell is the shaft?!

Those last couple Andy Gilbert cues are very nice but unfortunately I wouldn't call them box cues.. :(

I saw a post awhile back with a picture if a Barry Szamboti box cue, it was inscribed "A Tribute to my Dad"

I can go back and find the pictures but I would like the owner to post them.. Please do, I am sure everyone would love to see it!

Manzino "La Finesrta" will always be my favorite box cue of all time.
This was one of my favorite projects Bob and myself have done together.
This cue IMO inspired the over the top box cue's we've seen since.
Best,

One of the most Artistic designs I enjoy seeing any chance I get.
But the one I really loved I only saw once during SBE-2008 when Ken acquired and moved the cue with a blink of an eye...

Hey Myron,
Thanks for the nice words. I know you appreciate "la finestra".
I see you dug into the archives to find the Barry box cue. Wish I was able to keep that one, since I never replaced it. Not many have been done for some time, but I'm sure that won't last long.
Best,
Ken

Who owns a Meucci Crown-BOX Cue (If think it was the Jim Rempe No 7)

Dear AZB-Members,
I know I asked for the finest fanciest and best looking box cues?
Especially the ones made of burl woods or other exotic woods!

But if someone of you has a nice exemplary of Meuccis Crown Cue, please show us some good pics of your cue. I mean the one with the stained BEM Forearm. Not the black version!
(if i remember right it was the model: Jim Rempe No 7)

Because Bob Meucci made that cue in the early 80's and at that time period I was 14-15 years young and for me it was the best looking Cue. But unfortunately it was also the most expensive Meucci!
I know this is a Production Cue and it's neither a Custom nor a High End Cue, but IMO still worth to be showed!

ESPECIALLY FOR ALL THE MEMBERS WHO NEVER SAW THAT MEUCCI BEFORE!

P.S. I already thank you very much all for all these magnific Box Cues, you've posted in this thread.

I did not have to dig too deep to find that Barry Box Cue (favorite all time)...
Beside, I saved those pictures for my home computer desktop!

To see the La Finestra in person is awesome...
But seeing Alton's face when we offered to have him take a picture of it while holding it was Priceless!

When I think of box cues, I have a hard time thinking of anything other than the Szamboti box cue.

THIS ISNT IT, but a copy of it.
