Haha...I advise people to skip this video. It's horrible lol. I play very slow and nervous. So does he. My biggest singles win for sure. But I guess it does show the cue stick pointing thing I do. Oh well this is reality lol.

I don't get it, I didn't see any strange stuff
good lord, 3 hrs for a race to 10? Jason Platt is brutally slow. WTF?
Thanks haha. I just said my preshot routine was somewhat unique. I am the taller guy that stands behind the shot and points my cue. I do other weird things too (wiggling my arm so it hangs dead, etc.) I guess its not exactly crazy, just a bit unique.

I saw Rafael Martinez take 34 practice strokes before breaking the balls in a game of 8 ball at the BCAPL's in Vegas.
Yes, I was counting and let out a little snort of laughter when he passed 25.
Anyone who's seen him chalk his tip between shots won't be entirely surprised.
Mine is pretty unique. Most people remember me for it. Sorry don't have a video handy.

I love your attitude KM. The nerves get the best of us all. Well....I should say most of us but maybe not you because you clearly overcame them. The play was pretty slow but understandable under the circumstances. Great job fighting to the finish line and getting there first.
Now when it comes to funky PSR's I'd vote for Charlie Williams even though he doesn't play all that much anymore. I actually can't stand watching him play. He gets up and down more than any professional caliber player I've ever seen.
It looks like as you're using 90/90 and using your cue to align to three alignment lines and then when you get down on that line you pivot to center, a bit unorthodox way, but it still looks like that?
Yes I doI even asked you if you use an aiming system with how you wave the cue a bit in the air before getting down on the shot. Looks just like an exaggerated way you would aim if using the CTE system.
Interesting observations. I have to admit I don't really know what you are talking about. I've heard of 90/90 but have no idea what it is. I really just use my cue to illustrate the shot line to myself, so I can repeatably step in along that line, and orient my back foot on the line consistently. I definitely do not do any kind of pivot. What you might be seeing is once I bend down, I kinda swing my arm to the side and let it come to rest and just hang dead. It looks like I'm wiggling my stick or something. I've heard other people say I look like I'm using some kind of CTE. I'm not. No special aiming tricks or systems.

Haha...yeah no CTE. No aiming system really. The waving is just so I can feel my arm hanging straight down dead. Sort of relaxing all my forearm muscles. Can't recall if I told you that before. I'm ok with being a weirdo lol
