Who is left in the 9 Ball at Derby City?

Shane and Shaw match. I cracked up when the guy in the crowd said “Jump on the table Shane” after Shaw had his meltdown. Wish the video kept going after that.

I was very surprised at first because the video is only about 40-minute long, watched first 3 games, Shaw won all of them 3-0, so i thought this was just another Shaw's quicky again, then I skipped to the very end to see the last game, to my surprise again it was Shane on the table wining it...

What did Shane say to Shaw, I couldnt hear it as clearly as Shaw talked to Shane lol Shaw is super pissed

Not hard to see the real reason for the disparity in results is due to how they were breaking.

Shaw was soft breaking.

Shane wasn't.

Shane had better results.

Pathetic display by Shaw. Judging by his unshaven face and negative attitude from the onset of the match, I'm going to assume he had a few late nights out playing "crotch-grab" with his Euro buddies.

Melling's strict daily exercise regimen proves how important it is to be in shape, especially in a tourney where you have to play all day and night on the 9th day!!

Way to go Tubbs!!

Jaysons choices for actually affect us though, right?

He loves to min and hates to loose, in equal measures. It is one of the attributes that led him to the top of the heap.

I think we can deal with it, just as he will have to deal with our discussions of him

I'm obviously no expert, but I'd still bet his attitude does him more harm than good.

Imagine how many more titles Earl might have won had he been able to keep his shit together.

I don't think they can be separated. You open yourself up to an equal level of highs and lows, imo.

There are numerous examples of champions in all sports that handle losing better than Shaw (or Earl).

There is absolutely no evidence that says in order to be the best you must care about winning so much that you can't handle losing.

We must take the good with the bad. Jayson plays as good as anyone has ever played the game and we all saw it coming early on. When the spot light shines on the greats we may see traits that bother us or we may notice things that further propel champions into hero status.

IMHO the sport could use another hero and heroes must also take the good with the bad. If Jayson was snapping the wing balls then it would have been all good.

No body likes to lose but no one can win all the time. Learn to take it like a champion.
