who is your favorite pool player?

.

Efren Reyes

He is the favorite of the fans and is also the favorite of pool players. Check the wpc website and you'll see about 64% of players who listed their favorite players had efren as their favorite(61 out of 95 players).

That question is kind of repeating and repeating and repeating again! It seems you dont even know anything about pool at all! I'm speaking about the threads you've been coming up with...peace!

Well that's easy. My favorite pool player is ME (my wife plays too and she also ranks at the top of my "favorite" list).

My favorite player to watch is Efren.

I'm tired of saying Efren. My favorite player? It is a seven-way tie between -

Williebetmore
Zeeder
ChefJeff
Wally in Cincy
Manifest Ecstasy
Jimmy M
Mrs Jimmy M

On average once a week.... this has to be the AZB equivalent to the movie Groundhog day......

So I am not the only one!

I hope this thread gets deleted and the thread starter gets warned...

Friends don't let friends drink and post...and then pass out with a camera in the house :p

Efren and Earl are always a pick.

Max Eberle is one of (my) favorites to watch.... but I must say... Kim Davenport moved way up my list at the Riverside event...

Locally in Phoenix.....I would have to say that Jimmy M, Scott F, and the now extinct Andy S. would have to be my picks to watch.

Although watching Jimmy can be boring as hell....He never seems to have any difficult shots to make........ :D :D :D

I like watching Ronnie Alcano and Dennis Orcullo, they are both so silky smooth.
I like Ralf Souquet. I think he is one of the most consistent players out there, and a good representative of the game.
I also like Tony Drago. He makes things look so simple when he is at the table.
And then there is Earl, so much talent and a pure genious.
I can go on and on, I guess there really isn't any one I don't like to watch... ;)

No Babaloooo?

I don't think I have a favorite pool player...or, maybe I have a lot of them...depends how you look at it.

I enjoy watching Keith McCready just from a pure entertainment standpoint.

My most FAVORITE player is Keith McCready. No surprise there! :D

Some other players I enjoy seeing compete, whether in a tournament or in action, would be, in no particular order:

Ryan "Genie Man" McCreesh because he's so funny
Danny "Kid Delicious" Basavich because he's focused and can deliver
Shannon "The Cannon" Daulton, especially when he's barking for action
Earl Strickland, always entertaining in any event he competes in
Tony Watson for his heart, endurance, and guts
Marcus Chamat, always a strong competitor and a nice guy to boot
Little John, one of the BEST upcoming players in the country
Jose "Amang" Parica, a champion thoroughbred who still packs a mean punch
Harry Platis from Seattle, no fear and makes things happen
Alex Pagulayan, now a distant memory, but a very pleasant one
Ronnie Wiseman, he's definitely got game and knows how to deliver
Sandor Tot, a gentleman player with a sense of humor
Buddy Hall for his magnificant STROKE
Spanish Mike Lebron, a mighty warrior and I love it when he smiles
Luc Salvas for his fast-paced style of play and good naturedness
Larry Nevel, a quiet fellow with a powerful bite

I could go on and on, but here's a few for starters! :p

Wasn't there another thread on this same topic last week? :D

Are you frickin' kidding me?

Listen, man. I love Efren. Right now, he probably is my favorite player along with Nick Varner. As a Filipino and a pool player, I couldn't wait until Efren started playing more tournaments in the States. I couldn't wait to see him actually winning rather than resting on a reputation built on one or two visits to the U.S. and the writing of one amateur player playing him 8-ball in the 70's.

But your constant barrage is making me despise reading his name on these boards. That's not right.

Isn't he a HOOT!?!??! :D I'm looking forward to seeing him at the open... hopefully in action at the pool room. It's been a very long time since I've seen or heard anyone, let alone Shannon, woofing & playing. Don't anyone go tellin' me that damn barbox at VF is the same thing... I tried & tried... I can't get into it...

:p

As far as entertaining players that make me happy I watched, GROUNDHOG in Atlanta is my favorite to watch. In fact, he watched me before I ever watched him. He was clocking me and I did not know it and, after watching me practice, he wanted to buy my cue! My cue is pretty plain, so after watching him win the one pocket tourney with a much nicer cue than mine I was flattered that my playing style might have made him want to buy my cue. Never met nicer than Groundhog and Nick Varner.
