who is your favorite wpba player from the san dego event

Though many caught my eye at WPBA San Diego, the one who made the greatest impression was Yu Ram Cha. I saw her play a few years ago, when she was just 18, and, while she had a great stroke even then, she didn't yet play nine ball well. Her skills have developed well, and she now looks like a player to be reckoned with for a long, long time. Watching her continued development should be a treat.

Its easy to cheer for the usual suspects, but what about the under dogs?
Holly Sholes really impressed me. Coming from behind in almost every match taking down Ga Yung Kim then Helena Thornfeldt to get to the final 16. Once there she beat Kelly Fisher to the hill and got a little to aggresive and it cost her. You guys should expect great things from her in the future. I have known her for a long time and I am proud of her.

thnx:)

:cool:I can't say it enough... Thanks for the support it means a LOT to me.

I only have one thing to say about Monica's recent success, and that is...

USA, all the way.
USA, All the Way.
USA, ALL THE WAY!

Great win, Monica. I've always been a fan of yours, ever since I first met you at Hot Shots on Pulaski Highway (Route 40) in Baltimore, MD, right after the Capital City Classic. I was sitting by myself, didn't know very many folks in the pool room. You and Helena came over and sat in my booth, introduced yourselves, and we all shared a few good laughs.

Keep it going, Monica. We'll all pulling for you to win! :)

I have to vote for the home town lady, Monica!

Close second to Sarar.

WPBA San Diego

Iris Ranola or Eleanor Cataldo!

Eleanor Collado!!!
She just received her sponsored cue from Scott Gracio a couple of days prior to the tournament and draws Jasmin Ouschan the first round..... and beats her! That's pretty strong. Plus, El is super nice and an awesome representative for the sport. I'm sure you will be seeing much more of her in the future.

Kudos too to Gerda for the strong comeback against Allison to come back from 6-2 to win. She was just making them from everywhere.
