Who wins? Bartrum or Lassiter?

Once again.... Gonna have to go with Bartrum. Being dead makes Willie a HUGE underdog.
I guess you're right. Since we are talking about "now," and not in their prime, I see your point. Without movement and breathing, Chris could probably give them the one out. Technically though, if someone calls the flip for Lassiter and wins the toss, he could never break the balls. So, this could be a draw?

I'm just saying, how much of a pulse did Wimpy ever have?

Kevin

Who wins ??????

Wimpy may have been the greatest player ever, next to Efrin. There were years in his prime where no tourneys were even put on where he would just have ran over the field. He was still winning in his 50s like whatever Efrin can do now. Do not underestimate this mans complete talent

Lassiter was one of the top 5 or so players to EVER play the game. Bartrum isn't even in the top 5 alive today, but he might be in long sets.

Lassiter by a landslide

I'd vote for CB too. I have seen kim play and he is gooder than I am good.

Never seen Luthaah play, so CB must be better.

If they played today, Bartrum would have a slight edge.

Just an effort to be an a$$. I just think these conversations are such a waste of time and get people all pissed off. I too think if Keith "plays" anywhere near his prime, he can win. No offense to Chris. I feel Chris has the heart of a champion.
Stop talking about yourself.

Considering Chris HAS a pulse and Luther does not... Yes, IM going to bet it all on Bartrum.

No, no, no, anyone who ever watched Lassiter play knows that the sicker he was the better he played. Hell, Luther's probably playing perfect pool these days.

lord knows since he's died he's never missed!

I can't believe I almost have three pages of response for Bartrum against a guy that is dead. Just shows you, we'll argue and debate even the most stupid of things.

But if Bartrum was dead too then who would win? To my way of thinking Wimpy had a game better suited to playing while dead. What do you think?

I L
then I LOL.

If they play a long ahead set, lassiter can get the 8 ball from chris. Chris takes grinding it out to a whole new level.

Dead Cornbread (RIP)

I think playing one handed jacked-up dead Cornbread would beat all dead champions and maybe most of the living ones.

Kevin

I'm on Wimpy, mainly because I'm an old fart and Lassiter was one of my heroes.

But it's a good pick anyway.

Sorry, among deceased players, Bill Brasky stands above all of the rest. When Bill got to the Pearly gates, he put in his punch style hotel card. The gates opened and all were singing "Welcome to Braskyville."

I once saw Bill Brasky run 611 racks. He dropped down under the table from what we thought was exhaustion. Later we found him with 12 ladies under the table. Evidently, he became bored with pool.
