Who won AZ 14.1 State Championships?

Thanks Dennis. I am not sure why I am on his ignore list. I guess it could be because I quit responding to his 10 daily PM's about nothing or I started responding to his posts with logic and common sense. Either way I hope he wants to play. :)

BVal

LOL... he has had a couple good threads... 2 out of 3000 not bad.

lol. So are you playing in the next Desert Classic Tour stop at Metro on 7/26-27? If so... I am going to give you a run for your money on the best 8 and under side pot.

I'll be there buddy :) How is your new table playing? I bet it's real nice. You should be able to get out from anywhere at Metro after playing on your tight pocket Diamond :)

Cool.... and yes it plays like a dream. The 4 1/2 pockets can be brutal. When are you gonna come up and try it out?

Is that FREE pool? No GREEN to play? Sounds right down someone's alley!! Especially if you go pick them up, and they don't have to waste any GO-GO Juice to get there.

Better be careful....

Desert Classic Tour

Hey guys,

Could you offer any info as to how you would rate a person who say is there visiting, but would like to participate in your tournament. For example I fly down to Scottsdale a few times a year to see family and love to play at Kolby's, but we dont utilize a 1-10 or whatever rating scale locally. Do you just start at the maximum, and then next time, if you get waxed it's adjusted or how do you do that?

Reason I'm asking is I may be there for the 25th-27th weekend and would be interested in playing. Thank you for any information.

The Desert Classic Tour is open. You don't play by a rating. Everyone goes to the same score no matter what your skill level is. Local tourney's you start at the max (and adjust from there after the tourney) unless you get rated before hand. Hope this helps.

Thanks Bval, that makes perfect sense. Is the tour stop that weekend in the Phx area?

Yep - it's at Metro Sportz Bar. $1500 added 9-ball bar-box. Check out www.desertclassictour.com for more info. Also Jimmy M. (Jimmy) and Prince (Dennis) both post on here and they run it. Feel free to ask them anything. They are both super nice guys.

might I be so bold as to presume that there may infact be a little Baconator side action going on at said tournament:D

too true, however, if someone bets a Baconator with you and they lose make sure you accompany them to Wendy's in order to avoid getting "air baconatored"

Thx Prince. I will be sure to look you guys up if I get there that weekend. I really appreciate being able to simply ask and get information like this. I was there in Feb. for the golf trney and it was nice to get down to Kolby's and play a bit with Scott. Funny thing tho, the tables there seemed a tad tight, but it couldve been the air compared to here I dunno, but I did more than my share of racking... Anyway take care and I may need to call if I get there, for directions.

If you played with Scott it was probably on table 6 which is TIGHT and has nothing to do with the air lol :)

For u BVal,

Well, there i was in 110 degree heat, at the drive through, getting ready to order my Monday lunch as always. Just as i start to order my usual, the big #4 Baconator is staring me in the eye. :)

I was reminded of the Baconator Ring game that was mentioned and thought to myself, "I must try this". So i gave in.

Now i sit here at my desk, fuller than a fat tick on a lean ......(u finish the rest). Not bad, but i sure hope i don't start developing some chest pains and numbness in my arm from that thing. :) Wow!
