Yeah, I read it. You just leave a very shortsighted list, IF I could have any era cuemaker make my cue. Why list Tascarella (who took over Balabuska's business), and not Balabushka? Why list DPK and Franklin in the same list, when they built the exact same cue (DPK helped Franklin design his cue's structure)?

Honestly, you say ANY ERA cuemaker, and put on Jerry Franklin? His designs are still available. They're still making cues at Southwest. Do you think Jerry had magical powers in cuemaking that the other guys don't? The guy who makes cues for Southwest when Jerry was there is still there, still making the same cues.

Put on Szamboti and Balabushka and Burton Spain, and other high end makers. All you do with these polls is show your limited knowledge.

I went to Dennis's shop last week...

with Pete Ohman. Dennis's shop is amazing. I couldn't believe the equipment and stock that he has. He sure takes the time to explain things to where you fully understand his concept. I now see why his cues are at the top of the list.(My Omen is still the nutz)

Anyone of the aforementioned would do; however none of them seem to be able to make my design. They need a 4th or 5th axis cutting system to do it. :(
 
Mine would be a Dave Barenbrugge. I love butterfly splices, and IMHO his ringwork is incomparable. Maybe something similar to this-
