That's some list buddy....you have my permission to keep some cues in my room which your renovating now...yup, the room by your swimming pool next to your pool room..

This man is for real he came half way across the country. we went to pool hall and he shot with my cues , came back to my shop and spent all night picking out his woods. his passion run's deep he F-ing loves cues and I'm going to splice him something special. he also loves barbecue ribs too , he put them down my kinda friend .... his collection can put any ones to shame out here on AZ , ANYONE'S . he doe's not go that route he just loves cues . I got excited when he came to me this what I live for I will hook him up and then some ....

About this list, I think every one who reads AZ will recognize the makers. Except one. Who is this Jacob Hulsey? How did some make-believe/wannabe dick head get on such a list?

Truth is, I have known Jake a few years now and think you have made a fine choice. Just busting Jakes balls a little!

Diveney & Tascarella

I'm ordering a wrapless matching shooter & jump break combo tomorrow from Pat Diveny... Why? Because his cues play lights out!!!

And I am ordering a HIGH end Pete Tascarella in November... No explanation required... Lol:)
 
Couldn't get JoeyInCali to get up off the Pernambuco but we do have a gorgeous Braz Rosewood in the works. I barely got in under the wire.

who is Jacob Hulsey ? you tell me :grin::grin: this make-believe wannabe dick head is a great guy & his cue plays great & his work is top notch for an unknown builder that why he on my list.
I was out at his shop few months back & seen some of the work before he headed to the Philly show Little Kenny put together. his wood choice are good, point work are great, super tight miltered full splice for an unknown maker.
 
Joel Hercek just finished a cue for me and I am about 4 months away from coming up on Southwest's list
 
I absolutely love your new Hercek, an unusual and clean design...it's beautiful.

I'm hoping to get my Zinzola soon, the Murrell will be a while...

Ed Young

Ed Young is delivering a cue tonight that he had been working on for awhile.

It started with a John Davis blank. I cannot even remember what woods were in it.

I know it has a leather wrap, probably those nice silver rings, ivory ferrules.

I always liked the Ed Young hit and the fact that it is a full splice should make the hit even better.

I guess I will find out tonight.

I am also on his list for another, on Southwest for several and on Hercek's list.

If I ever had the money to get a custom cue, it would be a ginacue from Ernie Gutierrez. I have seen some beautiful cues before, but none impact me like his do.
 
i'm having a cue built by a local cue-maker here in manila. it's a blonde-themed sneaky pete - curly maple and yellowheart, white veneers, joint and buttcap.

Keith Hanssen is building me a cue right now. It will have up and down points, purple heart, with green diamond wood points, and then purple heart recuts, as well as some other fun stuff. should be very cool!!!!

I am going to order my playing cue from Trevor Donahue at Carolina Custom cues in the new year as the break cue I had made by him last year was an absolute blinder, this hopefully is what I will be getting made:

I've heard great things about bdcue (bob danielson). I have an SS360 shaft on order for my Joss butt. I threw some ideas at him and he seems game to take my design ideas and run with it for a fair price.

After the new year I'll be ordering from him. I would like to have some input on the design tho...
