Who's Going To Apa Nationals

I get the "Duh" award for the day on that one! 500 someodd teams with some byes should be up around 700. Senior moment!

Just a bump...

Is there any interest for an AZB meet and greet? I wouldn't mind getting together with some folks for drinks or to shoot some -- but since this will be my first time at APA nationals, I probably shouldn't be the one to suggest the where and when.

I'm getting to Vegas Sunday night and will be there through Thursday.

I have been to Vegas before but not for the APA. If someone wants to set up a meet thats fine with me. I will try my hardest to make it there. My team and I will get to Vegas on Sunday as well and leaving Saturday.
 
I would suggest Thursday night for a meet up. This will give a lot of people time to get eliminated from the events and have some free time.
 
i'm leaving in 2 hours and will be there until the 24th.. as said before, i'll be in the mini room whenver i'm not in the main room so give a yell if you fell inclined.. i'm not too hard to miss, i'm loud and annoying and ugly.

Well, how are we suppose to know who is who. I will try to be the most annoying one there, I know I am the ugliest. I look just like I do in my avatar!:embarrassed2:
 
I have a tattoo on my leg, Las Vegas theme from knee to ankle. Will more then likely have on my hat/head white oakley half jackets with fire lens and wearing golf type shorts and a polo shirt.

Im also about....... 5'5ish, 120lbs.

If I see this description on the news as a prank, Im gonna be pissed off! :P

Here's the details:

For those who would like to meet up, let's meet on Wednesday (8/20) at 5:00 at the Fireside Lounge in the Peppermill.

Peppermill is just south of the Riviera -- IIRC, you exit the Riv from the south exit (the "South lobby & group entrance"), walk across the parking lot of a dumpy motel (La Concha?), and then you're at the Peppermill.

The reason for this location is that the Splash Bar is crowded and has bad service, whereas Peppermill has always been nice and friendly. 5:00 on Wednesday is between rounds, so teams that play at 1:00 or at 6:00 should be able to make it. And some 9-ball and Masters players should still be around on Wednesday.

I am in!!!

My wife and I will be there with our team from New Orleans - North Carrollton NINJAS

Just look for the obnoxious couple, and you found us. Been to Reno for ACS, but first time in Vegas, and look forward to meeting everybody.

Also, I will probably be involved in many mini tournies, since my team has a handicap problem, and I probably will not play. Just there to eat, drink, and be merry. And might even buy a cue and order a custom case. Just there to see the sights, and take a well-earned vacation for the first time in 3 years.
