Every morning from 6:45 AM to after 8 AM EST. AZB is like 1990 DCL. What's up with it? Johnnyt

There are so many variables and possible causes. AZ being a free site, relies on voluntary memberships and ad revenue. Your browser maybe configured not to show a webpage until everything is loaded, so that could be dependent on the slowest component (could be ads). Think of it as local restaurant holding back the order on your table until everything is ready, rather than bringing the stuff out as its being prepared.

Hell, another forum I frequent, gets bogged down when you send PM's that are too long.

up until this week it was extremely slow prior to 7am est, in fact, so slow that at times it would just time out. this week however it seems to be slow all day......I not know why...:sorry:

We have backups and maintenance that runs in the morning (our time) each day. I knew that it slowed down for a couple minutes, but I didn't know it was something that kept happening.

We did have another issue last night (that I was awake way too long trying to figure out). That issue appears to be resolved though.

Please let me know if this continues though. Either PM me or email me at housepro@azbilliards.com

This is not something that was just one day or lasts just a few minutes
it has been happening now for a month or two it starts appox 4am est and stays slow
till about 7am. and by slow i mean you cant even get on the site slow and it is not just
me i had other AZ members say the same thing

az flipped a switch this morning as it is as fast as during the day .....maybe our posts here helped resolve the problem!

my sincere apologizes to all members for making the comment about the speed this morning. that lasted about an hour and now we are back to the pre-dawn slowness again....almost timing out now. so again, I am sorry for getting your hopes up...:sorry::banghead:

Maybe it's just "Old" like you and me ... Ha !!!

Actually, like clockwork, the Forums get slow as Molasses just after the
stroke of Midnight, Pacific Time. ( on All of my devices ).

Gateway Timeout - for the 40th time this week, all hours but mostly 4am-8am.

(hopefully this posts)
