Oh, one more thing: a beta blocker would tend to LESSEN what (I'm sure) you're picturing when you invoke the "alpha male." An alpha male on beta blockers would be LESS high-strung (with lower heart rate and blood pressure). In fact, archers and pistol shooters have tried to use beta blockers in competition--only to be blocked by the Olympic committee. They reduce anxiety and hand-tremor. They're just the thing for any sort of "aiming" competition ;)

I never said I knew of anyone's call. I merely said Hal gave misinformation or partial information sometimes. If I went off 100% what he told me during my first call, I'd still be aiming fractions. I know what beta blockers are; I take them for large speeches. You missed the joke --- it was a George Carlin quote.

Oh boy. You better give it up. Your position is sinking fast, in my estimation, with the last several posts. Posts which BEGAN with an insistence that Hal would basically BULLSHIT people until about the 20th time he talked with them--and that's new. The forum is filled with people who say they went to kneel to him, and they were anointed immediately and saw the light of how GREAT CTE was. Now you're saying what they learned was no doubt complete bullshit?

Can we simplify this?

Someone stand next to the object ball.
Someone stand on the cueball end.
Ask him where the edge or center or whatever is of the cueball is upon contact of the object ball.
Place the cueball there.

If the two balls line up to the pocket, it goes.
If not, without throw, it shouldn't.

Make it better, place an object ball frozen on the rail?

The best compilation of what CTE MIGHT BE that I could find was on Dr.Dave's site. And he has multiple variations! It seems that CTE is what the person you're currently speaking with SAYS it is--which could change tomorrow.

Even so, when MANY people say something is just GREAT, but can't explain it--and when they try, they come out with a range of variations, well....in my experience....bullshit is afoot somewhere :D

Well, if you had bothered to do your homework and make some personal connections before drawing your conclusions based on inaccurate and incomplete descriptions then you would have seen that no where on the web is there an "official" guide to CTE.

Do you you think that you are being insulting by talking about the videos I put up on YouTube where I clearly explain that what I am doing is not CTE as taught by Hal and others?

For someone who holds "the internet" as a vast repository of free and accurate information and who admonishes people for not sharing it's a bit hypocritical to be condescending because I don't present something the way you want it. For that matter how do YOU know that what I presented is NOT CTE? I KNOW it because I happen to be friends with people who DO KNOW CTE and we discuss it IN PRIVATE. You however don't have that so in reality you don't know what CTE is or is not.

Yet you presume to call it silly and BS. Quite a leap I'd say.

Is it possible for me to learn molecular biology from the "internet"? So if I spent a year reading all I can find about molecular biology would I then be qualified to call myself a molecular biologist? Or is molecular biology just silly and worthless BS because I can't learn it from reading on the internet?

Like Petey and 8pack said - it's better if you don't believe in it and don't try it. And if you want to keep making threads that talk about how silly it is then the cycle will repeat itself where you are shot down over and over.

And the result, even more people will be curious to learn CTE. So if your intention was to get people to "wake up" and not be curious about it, you failed.

But thanks for the cheap entertainment. As always a good CTE thread generates action.
