I have thrown this challenge out to the big mouth SoftShot before but it has gone unanswered. I will give you 2 to 1 on the money playing a race to 15 9 ball or 8 ball. I will give you 5 to 1 on the money playing a race to 6 one pocket. We both are located in Minnesota so let's make this happen SoftShot. Bet at least 300 per set.
Your last excuse was that gas was too expensive to drive the 45 minutes to the Twin Cities to play, after I offered to pay your expenses. I am quite interested to see what your excuse is this time.
Rossaroni can vouch for me that I will play the games offered.

When instructions for a better version become available, I will be happy to post them. Until then, all we have is what I have collected from various sources.
BTW, the versions on my CTE resource page do work if you adjust the "effective pivot length" the right amount for each cut angle. See the resource page for more info.

Also, what do you think is incorrect about the two Hal Houle versions that are posted? I would be happy to make corrections if they generally accepted as valid.

Chris came into this thread to find out what CTE is all about. He attacked nobody and was very polite. Out of nowhere, you go nuts on him. What the hell has Chris done to you?
Those who know Chris, all know he's nothing but a nice guy and also one hell of a player. You might find 15 US players that will beat him even, but I don't know about 20. Thats pretty strong.
Chris' hustling days are over. He will match up for cash or play in tournaments, but he's not hiding, ducking or dumping anything. There are a lot of trash players out there who will dump anyone for a dollar, not Chris. He plays on the square and plays with all his heart to win and get the cash.
Sounds like you have a personal vendetta against him, and thats fine, I just can't figure out how???

Pool School does have their version of CTE (SAME AIM). Right now it is proprietary just for our students. No bridge length, no bridge pivots, just simple CTE ball pocketing techniques. When Stan releases his DVD then things will probably change.
I don't recognize all of that from Hal. Where did you get it?

I want to know why under ghost ball you do not mentioned the arrow and its value. Babe Cranfield is not as good enough as Hal Houle in aiming systems?
You got voodoo aiming systems but not the one thing that truely helps in learning ghost ball and will work in all conditions.
Also, how would anyone know the CTE aiming is wrong if know one speaks up and syas whats wrong with it.
When it all comes down to it, every aiming system is based on ghost ball or the idea that there is only one spot on the table to make a ball go center pocket.
Why waste time on systems that just added requirements that aren't needed. After a long time playing, you'll just ended up using GB anyway.
You'll get to the point and just see where the ball needs to be and that GB's. You may have used various systems to get there, but seeing GB is where you will end up
Oh, there is no such thing as a 1/2 ball hit. The area of contact between the two balls is always the same size regardless of cut angle.
A good example of how what you see is not always what it seems.
I may be wrong duckie but I believe the term 1/2 ball hit refers to the estimated location on the object ball that the contact point of the cue ball is hitting, not that you are hitting half of the ball.
