I lived in Metairie/New Orleans for 2 years and played and Corner Pocket and Buff's pretty regular when I was there.....Quite a few peeps in that area owned some high dollar stuff.......I was able to shoot with a few high end cues like I mentoined......Like the hit of a Shick and Black. Klein is pretty nice....But my varney was made to MY specs and plays like I want.....
Just so curious to who you know down here that knows me personally......

Thanks for supporting my statement, like I said you never owned any of those cues. Next time just state the facts there will be no need to call you out. Hitting with a couple of balls with a cue and owning and playing with a cue regularly is not even close to the same thing, so what you have said is worthless and meaningless. The best thing you can do is not say anything at all if you really have nothing to add, because you keep sticking your foot in your mouth!!!!!!!!!!:yikes:
To the other question, I will have one of my friends say hello the next time one of them sees you playing pool. They will come over and say hello in a friendly manner(this is not a threat) from Craig at Full Splice Billiards, this way you will know I am on blowing smoke in your direction.

prosecuted for their internet behavior, and it appears that prosecutable
behavior may be occurring on this site. Let's not allow that to become instituted. I think that it is good that the username issuing the threats was banned. But I believe site admins/mods need to do some serious research and determine if proxy IP's have been
associated with CharlieL's posts. You really need to determine who is
CharlieL, and ban him - not only his username. I hope this helps point things in
a proper direction, but I do not claim to have the computer savy as to how to go about this. But you admins/mods have a responsibility to your members, and that is in part to protect them, and to keep them informed. I really hope you treat this seriously.
I don't like to reply in a way because keeping these threads going six pages in is exactly what pisses me off about the childish nature of the whole situation.
but nevertheless you call me a nuthanger because I've made in total about four posts in ALL of these KV threads, just appealing for a little bit of civility and common sense that's all.
When you step back from the whole thing just a bit and see what's going on it's ridiculous. You'd think the man was a murderer or something. There's been about six threads with the pages all going into double figures with page after page of people slagging the man off, most of which haven't even got a cue ordered with him.
All i'm saying is let the issue rest for a while. Let the man build the cues and get caught up. Rather than so many people indulding in all this childish behaviour piling on and shit stirring constantly so people can get their kicks. I mean the behaviour of some on here is ironic really - the childish way some are taking pleasure in beating the man down repeatedly when they don't even have anything to do with the situation is just as immoral, immature, and deplorable and what KV has done in the first place.
so you call me a nuthanger, yet you yourself are the cling-on to the ass hair who keeps posting in all these threads just to get your kicks out of insulting the man because you don't like him, and insulting me when I have never said anything to you before and have only made a handful of posts on this issue, just because I'm not joining in with the "slag Kevin Varney off party".
I have a cue waiting. It's been a long time. I'm a bit annoyed because of that. But that's life and the man's given me great service before. He knows he's behind on work, lets just leave the whole issue to rest while he gets caught up, is what I'm saying.

Varney brought this on himself with lies and exaggerations promoting his business
Varney seems to have brought a lot of this on himself by gross lies and exaggerations. If he is indeed posted images of the cues when they are ready as he claims, his catch-up is moving at a glacial pace. What I really found damning is that according to Varney's claims he had "well over 200" cues on order when he was still promising 60-90 day delivery to collect new 50-100% deposits.
Had he done this it would have been gross fraud since by all reports his is a small shop that can not begin to turn out cues in that volume and time frame. Now it seems that he only has/had about a twenty cue backlog. That still takes time to handle but I can imagine a person being able to believe that he could get 20 cues out in a hurry constructed in the manner Varney builds his. That reduces the matter from blatant fraud to at least the possibility of only an error in judgment.
At the end of the day, had Varney (A) not behaved like a jackass on these forums before his most recent troubles, (B) not lied about his backlog, (C) maintained contact with his customers he owed cues to, and (D) not been caught in new lies, the rest of us wouldn't be seeing page after page of "Varney" threads running constantly. When anyone roots through all of the mess and manure to get to the root of the problem Varney stands there all alone.

So all these people are really hanging on to MY fur, not the other way around. But anyway, nice analogous comeback, touche.
