Well, I made a doctor appointment for Thursday am. Doctor thought I should have a stess/echo test the following day, Friday. Long story short, I now have two stints in my heart, one artery at 90% blocked and another at 95% blocked. I'm home now and the doctor was very pleased with the results. I made my initial appointment with my doctor because I was having pressure in my chest after four or five pool shots. I never had any pain but the doctor who did the procedure said I was VERY fortunate! I feel very blessed to be alive today, he said I could have had a major attack at any time.
I just wanted to share this with you all and tell you how very glad I am to still be here and able to read/post and play pool. {nothing heavier than a 19 1/2 oz cue for a while;)]

Vey fortunate too that they could do Angioplasty instead of open heart, especially with the amount of blockage you had. My mom had open heart and died 8 months later. It was just too hard on her. I now wish we would have had a 2nd consult from an Interventional Cardiologist to see if angioplasty and stents would have been possible - the first one said no.

Wishing you all the best. Sweet blessings are coming your way.

So glad you caught this early, Pushout! You're a good man, Charlie Brown!

I'll bet you're feeling better than ever, too -- no telling how strained/fatigued your heart was, and now those blocked highways were just opened up.

Thanks, guys! {and Jenny} I'm feeling a bit better every day but still can't play much pool yet. They went in through my right wrist and my forearm is still very sore. The seepage/bleeding didn't completely stop until Sunday morning. Both arms look like I've been in a war. Have to take it real easy for a while and try to remember not to lift anything. And, of course, I picked up our 25 lb. Main Coon cat without thinking!
All the best to you all!

Follow the docs advice.

Glad to hear you are still with us.

It looks like pool has saved another life!:thumbup:
