Why STILL All The Venom For Bill Stroud?

There SHOULD be venom for B Stroud until the cue is done and in MHAIMI's hands...

If that never happens then there should be venom directed towards Bill Stroud forever...

It was his choice to start a contest and then not follow through. It was his choice, to not keep the winner or the other contestants appraised of any progress, it is his choice to continue to do so and he is ASKING for all the venom that is directed his way with every continued choice he makes.

Hell, he could have probably avoided all of this, or at least most of it with a simple, "sorry guys, I have changed my intentions in my life and I won't be able to follow through with this".

I don't wanna hear, all of the "let it go's" and "why are we rehashing this?".

The answer to those questions are self evident. People are continuing this course because of Bill's choice of continued course of lack of action of any kind.


I think I have made a total, including this one, of three comments on this, so anyone thinking of telling me I should devote my time to something else needs to get a clue...

I was just thinking about this the other night Jaden. People were talking about the value of Bill's last cue. Do you think that as an after thought, Bill doesn't want the winner of the contest to be in possession of the last cue that he made.

It could be considered pretty valuable in most peoples opinions.

Think of the last Balabushka, or a Gina.

Sorry I haven't had time to respond. I have been consetrating on my pool game.

I hane NOT sold any of my equiptment.

The DYD cue is built but still needs a lot of engraving. I will do it on a time available basis. I still am going to play in some more tournaments.

It will be finished and given to it's new owner.

sorry punter, I really don't take doing that lightly but there are times and situations when it's the right thing to do. For me, this was one of them.

In post 11 of this thread you stated as if it were fact, that my motivation for starting stroud-related threads was to shame bill into making a cue so I could win a bet. You had it wrong.

The result was that it called my character into question for all to see. Should I have laid down for that?

Besides it Christmas Day, and IMHO if this situation was going to be resolved, it would have been resolved long ago. Bill Stroud is silent, the contest winner, or their agent is not crying foul, or driving to Bill's shop on some vendetta to collect the price. could it be time to chill, and say this battle is not winnable.

My guess is if the winner was a resident of these United States, a visit to Mr. Stroud either at his residence or a pool tournament he was participating in would have brought the problem to the fore. Thought it was interesting the top two designs were both submitted by Europeans. Under this unfortunate situation, very wise of Mr. Stroud!

What are the terms of that bet and when does that bet expire?

The bet(s) were publicly made in one of the threads, which have now been merged, so who knows if those posts still exist. Just as when Brian has said, multiple times, that if he wins the bet, its going to charity.

No funny business between he and IBA regarding this.

You're forgetting who did the count. The counter decides who wins and yes Stroud is that kind of person.
