Why would anyone do business with Bebot Bautista Cues?

yeah but hondas don't rip off their customers by taking deposits and not delivering a product...
They also don't warp when they arrive from another country.
People pay for reputation, quality, consistency and playability. I've seen a few cues from the Philippines..with horrible construction. Cloudy finish, raised ringwork and uneven points. That was enough for me.
I would rather get a high quality sneaky pete from the U.S. or Mezz rather than try to save a few $$ by purchasing a cue made in the Philippines.
So many great cuemakers in the U.S. it's not even an option anymore to look over seas.

I have also seen a few cues from Philippines without those problems.
There are US cues being sold on AZ right now with warped shafts and butts.
Another thread was talking about Mezz cues warping.
I recently saw a cue done by a US cuemaker who sells his stuff on AZ and this new cue will need to be refinished.
I bought a cue here from a US craftsman that I had to send back because the finish was worse than any of my Filipino cues.

definitely will be doing that sir,.. i am making a promise simply because, thats all i can do for now until we start making progress of there cues, wip pics of progresses will be posted for each of them,.. building/preparing cues isnt easy, it takes time,..

Most top cue makers in the US can put out a quality cue within 90 days. How long do you expect it to take to make good on everyone's order?
maybe before end of next month, one or two people involve will be recieving a cue from their respective mailing addresses sir,.. :smile:

You could post up AZ names and rough date.

AZ#2 - January
. . .and so on.
Then pics of anything partially or fully assembled which you want to share, plus of course pics of cues ready to ship.
You know, honestly this has been going on for much too long now.
Pop in once in a while with reassurances (maybe blind promises) to buy themselves a bit more time. Eventually, enuff time will pass that the buyers will get tired of being stressed out over this and forget about it.
Les can't refund because his daughter is enrolled in a private school.
These 2 clowns are making their problems, your problems.
Its not right. Mervin, your father and yourself owe these people more than a couple of posts once in a while, stroking their fur and hoping that will buy you some more time.
Well guess what? These people have been much too patient for too long.
Its time to step up to the plate and start showing some pictures of cues and the estimated time of finish date.
This thread will not disappear and the longer it goes on, the more people that will shy away from sending you money.
Why you are still allowed to sell your cues in the Sale section is beyond me. All I can tell you is the longer you allow this to continue without making it right, the less chances you are going to have at making a decent living from the advertising you get on AZ.

i ordered a bebot cue long long time ago from les and have paid in full.
after numerous of promises i still havent seen any sign that my cue is being built.
at this point, i dont want that cue anymore. i have considered given money to somebody who need it.
les, please keep your promises and my money for yourself,
marvin, please dont bother to make me the cue.

This is sad! Who is this guy Les Lacson? And where does he live? Is he in the PI? I bought a Bautista cue from a friend the last time I was there. It's a beauty, the best cue I've found so far over there.

sad indeed, we all still wait to get something. Les took the orders for bebot before they stoped working with each other. He lives in manila too. I sure believe its the best cue you found over there jay, thats why we all odered one too.....
you are right sir. this is really sad.
my plan was to bought a bebot cue and ask bebot(through les) to write down my daughter's name on the cue. it was for her first birthday. and the cue was never delivered.
now my daughter is almost two years old. :happydance:
I just sent Les a private message on Facebook offering to help out by carrying cues back to the states at my expense and shipping them to the customers. I'm not optimistic but who knows??? I will be there from Nov. 17-30.
