WORLD 10 BALL CHAMPIONSHIP (28March-1April2022), Las Vegas, Winner $60K

How long did Oi take to decide what to do after the break?
I get the angle, but he broke at hill-hill and got hooked by the last ball rolling. I'm not bothered by someone taking a long time in that situation (and he played a really nice jump safe out of it). Kaci's slow play is not analogous IMO.

Assuming we are talking about the same thing, the nice thing about matchroom is they have two sessions and you know that you can sit down for 4-6 hour sessions of pool. But for this tournament (and the pro billiard series), they finish the first match and there is an hour wait (or more) until the next one. I often go and do something else and forget to come back.

I was talking about breaks during the matches. Seems like they are fairly frequent.

I agree. I wasn't suggesting that Kaçi's slow play was justified by Oi's. Oi is generally quick. I was just curious how long he took after the break.

Oh my b - misread you. I'd hazard a guess of around 3 mins.

Yes, generally after every two games. These are "commercial breaks," right? I don't ever see any commercials, just that annoying music. Who sees the commercials?

Haven't seen a single one on YT - unless you count logos as commercials.

Wow, how far did the cue ball roll off on Szewczyck in Rack 2 to leave him without a shot after masterful stroke of the cueball? How can a major championship be contested on such terrible equipment? This is embarrassing. Thankfully, Kaci screwed up anyway, so justice was served.

WPA Ranking of the Final Four
Shaw 26th
Szewczyck 32nd
Tevez 87th
Kaci outside the Top 100

Fargo Ranking of the Final Four
Shaw 6th
Szewczyck 15th
Tevez outside the top 100
Kaci 8th

Yeah, seeding by WPA ranking makes a whole lot of sense. If you buy the WPA rankings, you'd have to consider this the most improbable final four in a major event in a long time.

Of course, if you're more interested in who the best players are, WPA ranking just didn't get it done here.
