WORLD 10 BALL CHAMPIONSHIP (28March-1April2022), Las Vegas, Winner $60K

I love an underdog, but I have hard time seeing anything other than Shaw cruising to a 10-4 win or something like that. Hoping for a match as good as the last one though.
Tough to pick against Shaw here, but however it goes, I hope we get a glimpse of the Tevez that has been knocking off giants.

Of course this is too much to glean off of one tournament performance, but what if this is a sign of a wave of burgeoning talent from Latin / Southern America with a strong carom culture? Fun to speculate. I guess this is the idea though: these folks come out of the woodwork for the bigger paydays.

Shaw looking vulnerable trailing Tevez 3-6 and Tevez breaking next
I think the pool gods want to distribute more goodies to the underdogs this year so the big names will not win everything
A Wojciech v Tevez final would good to shake things up in the pool universe
This year is looking like repeat of 2011 where 2 lesser knowns contested the final

Yowser! Nice playing by Tevez. Shaw wasn't at his best, so the door was wide open, but Tevez showed a lot of consistency in his pocketing, played the patterns well, and was solid enough in the few tactical exchanges in the match.

Anyone who predicted Szewczyck vs Tevez in the final has a crystal ball that I'd like to borrow some time.

About my bedtime now, as it's quarter to one in New York, so to those who will watch until the end, enjoy the final and I look forward to reading about it on Saturday on the forum.

They just finished the second semi

Should be soon
They are going tonight?? Jeez this is like a state league pool tournament.. I can't make that either... Not sure who I want to win, kind of like them both.. Maybe they can just split!!

Tevez playing just fantastic.

He's got 4 balls to run out for the win. Shaw putting cues away, pulling off the glove and putting his phone in his pocket. AT WHAT POINT IS THAT A CONCESSION? I think it's classless.
I always been a big fan of Shaw.

Seen him play since he first came over. I met him as he watched me break and run out a 10 ball rack on a bigfoot table at the SBE Diamond booth. I've had him in my room playing in our pro exhibitions.

These guys are all real competitive. They all hate to lose. Some of their attitudes are very short sighted.

You tube screen up for finals.
Fortunately I already had a hour catnap, so I'm all in.

I'm not aware of either of these men. Tevez was super impressive.

They all want bigger money....bigger money brings out a world of people. It's nice to see as a fan.
