Why is there a little hash mark beside where the amount won should be on each player on AZB purse list for the world 14.1 that Appleton won? Are they ashamed to say how much world money was really paid out? Johnnyt

Yeah! I'm sure they're ashamed of posting the $13,000 he won, considering it would be the highest amount on his list. You are some piece of work. Why don't you tell Darren to skip it next year because it didn't pay enough.

The AZB staff is who puts the info up.

Do you think the AZB staff is ashamed of something??

Or is it more likely that the AZB staff has not obtained the info yet?

You are most likely taking either taking a shot at Straight Pool or Dragon or Charlie Williams. Why not have the patience to wait until the facts are in before you start your offensive? That way you might be spared the experience of eating crow once you find out how much Darren actually made.
 
I Have noticed when they review a tournament, they don't post the winning amount anymore. Maybe for tax reasons?
 
I googled trying to find just a list of the final standing, just to see where people finished
and couldn't find one. Anyone know where to find this ?
 
In reality, none of the pertinent info is posted, such as entry fee, green fee, added money and payouts. Doing it this way makes it harder to add up the amounts and find out what was taken out.

I think that for every tournament, this stuff should be posted. I believe the promoters should make some money running the event, but I also think that there is a fair amount.
 
Caution to AZB Sellers:

If Darren Appleton agrees to buy something from you, he might try to pay in #####. This is okay if your landlord and grocer accept #### as payment, but it pays to check first.

I have nothing better to do. :grin:

Mike Howerton stated in another thread that he had a request in for more information. I'd guess he hasn't gotten the info yet.
