WPB World 9 ball

Ralf getting drilled now 5-0 but a slow grind back wouldnt surprise me as long as his back is well..

It would surprise me, and that's no knock on Ralf.

Carlo Biado was the favorite entering this match. He demolished the field at Hard Times in early July, and then backed it up later that month with 3rd in the US Open 1-pocket, 5th in the US Open 10-ball, and 2nd in the US Open 8-ball.

Biado is red hot right now and is going to be tough to beat.

I am well aware of Mr Biado and yes he was the favorite but the rule never bet against Ralf' has served me quite well over the years

note-Shane looks to be on his way this round.

It would surprise me as well, mostly because of alternating break. Difficult to come back from such a large deficit, because even if you play literally perfect pool from a point forward you're still not guaranteed to win. Alternating break forces you back in the chair at some point.

ok i didnt know it was Alternating Break-Ralf has the most underrated break in pool. Still i didnt mean i was expecting RS to come back- just that he could and has done so a zillion times

Melling just went on a spurt-looking good for Tubbs

Tubbs is through

Fabio too (Please God, anyone else!)

WORLD 9-BALL CHAMPIONSHIP 2013

UPDATE...

Seems almost criminal that match ups like SVB v Biado and Hohmann v Appleton are happening as early as the round of 32 instead of semis or finals.

Plus Mika vs. Ko Pin Yi. These are the three strongest match-ups of the next round.

Just goes to show the strength of the field. I look forward to a couple of hot runners in the final. There aren't too many upsets in a field like this.

I'm glad the streaming starts tomorrow. The only unfortunate part is that I assume all of the commentary will most likely be in Arabic which is ok except there's always that one guy who talks 1000 mph and barely gives himself time to take a breath. It's amazing he can think of that much to say. No worries though I'll just watch on mute and be perfectly happy.

Anyone know what time EST the streaming starts? World time is not one of my strong points. Johnnyt

Corey Deuel vs. Daryl Peach

Corey loses ON the hill 11-10. That is painful.

Looks like Shane Van Boening is the last American left standing.

GO SHANE!

HOpefully, we will be seeing some LiveStreaming there soon.
