I don't know how I missed this article on AZ and I have yet to find a post about it here but this is BIG news for the WPBA and my friend Stu!

Congratulations --- the WPBA is VERY lucky to have you come on board.

Your dedication, support and knowledge of the game and it's history will surely be a tremendous asset for the WPBA's future!

Ditto.

I met Stu in Peoria a few years back....definitely knows and loves the woman's tour as much as anyone I can think of. Plus he knows pool, has a great history of the game, and can communicate his message quite well.

Congrats, Stu!

PS When can I start my beatching about stuff? :)

Besides his love for pool and his knowledge of pool he can bring his expertise in the money making & moneymanagement. It is a gain to WPBA.

Knowledge of the game, love of the game, & calm, cool, level headedness. I couldn't think of a better person to be on the board. Congrats Mr. SJM, we know you'll do a fantastic job.

Hey, wasn't Stu on the board before??? I think this is a repeat gig.

Congratulations to the WPBA for enlisting someone with an abiding love for the game, knowledge of the game, and most importantly passion for the game (hmmmm, they didn't ask me to serve.....it must be an oversight....)

Congrats SJM - The WPBA makes another smart decision. Now they need to put JohnnyT on the board to work over the sponsors.

Thanks for the kind words, double G. Joining the WPBA Board is an honor, and, as I already count the other members of the Board as good friends, working with them will be easy. It's always nice to join a winning team, and the WPBA is comprised of smart, ambitious, and determined women.

You will be an asset for them I am sure. Always nice to see good folks involved with professional pool.

Yes, yes....Well, as long as he doesn't accept any govt "bail-out" money! That would tie some hands.

How you been Vag, my friend? I'm deciding this week whether Barb and I are going to Michigan City....You going?

Congratulations Stu!

Does this mean you can deduct your costs associated with reading and posting here on the forums?

Man, I gotta find a gig like that. :D

Again, congratulations! It really seems like a natural fit!
