This will be my third or fourth time attending the RTC and I enjoy it every year. I really enjoy playing against a whole new group of women that I'm not familiar with and I enjoy meeting new people. I'm especially excited this year because I've never been up to that part of the country. Also, I hear this pool hall is very nice.

Thanks for putting up this list, I wish it could be done every year or passed out to the players at the tournament, because I always wonder who is from what tour.

Thanks! See you next weekend!

This is my first regional tour tournament and I am so exited!!!

Gonna miss it

Have to say that I'm bummed that it's not in Florida this year and that I won't be attending.

I hope everyone plays well but I will definitely be pulling for the Northeast to do well!

Go JPNEWT (and Tiger too!)

OK go New England

Sharon

The Parlor is very open and upscale, I think a lot of people will be impressed... It's also in a prime shopping/dining location, and it's here during the best part of the year.... :D

I will need to stop by and check this out. I only live like 10 miles away from the Parlor. I am curious how they will handle spectators.

I can't wait! The thing I'm looking forward to most is being able to hang out with all the girls I've met through pool over the last year!

We'll miss you Sharon! US JPNEWT girls will try to make you proud!
See you at the next one.

Also, the BCA Open team Kiss of Death has 4 of the 6 members attending the RTC. Should be a blast.

Naomi

What is considered the best part of the year? Cold weather?

That was sarcasm... the overcast/drizzly parts of the year are Nov-March mainly, but it's been surprisingly nice as of late. Weather has been in the 30s', low 40's, so hopefully it's not overcast when you're here.

The best part of the year IMO is summer. Can't beat it.

I assure you it's better than 105* in Austin.... I don't miss those one bit.

30s and 40s... holy cow, I guess I need to buy a coat! I'll take 105* anyday!

If you haven't seen this room check it out on the WPBA web site. This is top shelf upscale. Not my cup of tea but I can see why the WBPA booked it. Johnnyt

Yup. Very upscale. $16 an hour for a table upscale. Its a nice setup though. They have a full size snooker table in the back and rooms that can be rented out.

If anyone is coming out here for this event I recomend checking out Golden Fleece (aka Dave's). 9' diamond tables without a bar and music.

You're welcome, I got the list from Anne. The room is fantastic. Here is their linky. http://parlorcollection.com/parlorbilliards-generalinfo.htm

That is a great achievement making it to your first RTC. Play well and come up and introduce yourself to me.

You guys have a very strong contingent showing up. Can't wait to see you all. I will be the short, fat, old asian that can't run 3 balls.

The scenery will be very green, if not downright rainy. :sorry: It's nice for us Westerners not to have to travel this year, so if they keep spreading it around, it should even out...although Florida at this time of year is a lot nicer.

I look forward to meeting you as well. :)

Free Streaming at RTC

I want to add that Mike Howerton is going to setup a camera on one feature table and provide free streaming with live chat throughout the RTC. I will also be there to assist with commentary, and we will likely invite players and other guests to join the show.

Saturday matches start at 9AM PST and will end around 7PM PST. I believe the same goes for Sunday's matches with the finals airing around 7PM PST.

Video feed will be provided on www.WPBA.com, www.AZBtv.com, and hopefully ALL Regional Tour websites.

Best of luck to all the players who qualified for this event! See you this weekend.
