Anyone know if the Open will be streamed? Hard find any info on the tour anymore. Is Cherie Baby going to be there? Johnnyt

I don`t know.In another 4 hours I will be on the road driving towards Norman,OK for US open.I have 1200 miles to drive.I may post some tidbits from there but I am not a guy into the details of the scores,money etc.:cool:
 
Quite a few ladies from afar are not going to OKC. It's a tough trip with no direct flights from NY for example. The WPBA had to go deep down the list to fill the field I was told. Another not so good sign for them.:(

Hi Johnny!
No webstreaming from OK. The casino does not have enough public bandwidth to give the WPBA. It was the same last year. I'll be texting mike howerton updates and Rex &I will be taking pictures that will be posted on Azb and on my facebook page.

I heard from her close friends that she will be there and she probably make the TV round so you may see her on ESPN shortly. Now... Where did she pick up "baby" to her nickname or is that Johnnyt-special? lol:p

That is not Frankie Vallie singing that. He use to visit a familly member that owned a deli in Oceanside, NY. I talked to him a few times. But you're right....I can't believe we listened to that stuff. Now the biker songs were good. Johnnyt

The kid did it better than Valle.

The kid is supposed to hit the high notes but he hit the low ones pretty good too.

and ill take it over "yo yo yo ni.... mother f..ker i shot four cops tonight" any day.

I am going for the quarter finals, semi-finals, and finals on Saturday & Sunday. I plan on taking as many pictures as I can. This will be my 3 year going and I am looking forward to it. All the players I have met have been very nice.

Johnny,

We were tentatively scheduled to stream this event through Friday. The Casino thought if one table was streamed that people wouldn't come out and watch.

Funny that some people still think this way. The stream table is really the greatest teaser of all to get people in their car and go there. Of course the announcers will have to lay it down.

Maybe next time.

Professional pool needs as much exposure as it can get. Too bad the casino doesn't see it this way.

They are also missing out on some positive PR instead of getting neg PR.

Whenever I heard that song I had visions of a suburban two story, girl named Sherry in upstairs window, Frankie Valle standing in Yard one arm raised to the girl singing.................his other arm trying to knock the pitbull off his gonads. lol :eek:
