This could just be his hardest match of the tournament. I'd like to see him finally get a World Championship!!!!!! GO Django....although I always like Alex, I just think this might be Busty's year!!!

Even Alex wants Django to win....he said so in an earlier interview.

If Django doesn't grab the chance now he might not get this opportunity again. He's getting old and there are a lot of new, young players, as evidenced by the players remaining in the competition.

haha...you are right about the san miguel beer commercials...maybe repeating the commercial over and over actually works...thats the only drink on my mind right now

I'd like to see Bustie win because he's played so well. He is so deserving of a WPC championship title.

However, I wouldn't mind seeing Alex win, just so he can shove it in the face of that Philippines Billiard and Snooker organization that has snubbed him in the public press. If Alex wins a second title, I'd like to see how they treat him then.

All Filipino players have sponsor tags all over their shirts. Poor Alex only has one sponsor tag on his back for San Miguel beer. Alex is an independent, it seems, and for that reason alone, I'd love to see him win again.

Of course, being American, I want Corey Deuel to make it to the finals. If he does, I will have great difficulty picking and choosing who my favorite would be to win.

It will be a race to 11 from now on until the finals which will be a race to 17.

The Joven Bustamangte vs Kawabata match is being broadcasted live via studio 23 local channel in the Philippines and it is a tight one. They are now tied at 5 all.

You're right JAM, he is very deserving of a WPC title. I have always felt that he has somewhat been in efren's shadow even though he has more than held his own. I've always thought that if had played in any different era, theres a good chance he would have been considered the best player in the world at several points in his career.

nice, difficult jump shot on the 1 by kawabata gives him control of the table again and he now has an easy lay-out....

kawabata now leads joven, 6-5.

"san miguel please...."

i have a very important question: can't manny pacquiao take on jet li? why was he just standing around while jet li was jumping on everyone and stealing their drinks?

boyes ahead 7-4....
meanwhile, joven strings together another rack for the lead, 8-7
a miss by stepanov sends boyes back to the table...and he runs out for an 8-4 lead over stepanov.
