It's funny, I started out wanting Gomez to win, but the crowd is so obnoxious I almost want him to lose, just to shut the crowd up. But then I feel bad because Gomez has so much pressure to deal with at the same time.
 
Two-game lead for Superman. A win is a win, though these games aren't exactly break-and-runs. That's for sure.

Neither player have taken a commanding lead in this match. It's still anybody's ball game from here, even though Gomez is ahead.

Let's see how he comes with the next break. If he wins this next game, I think the tension may lessen.

The crowd is worth the 8 ball in weight. There really should be better controls on the crowd. I don't know what can be done but I hope it improves in coming years. Perhaps if the tournament was moved as a penalty for bad behavior it could teach the crowds about self control. Then again, maybe there wouldn't be any crowd if they had to sit there like they were at a tennis match.

I think they should call it a draw and both are co-champions! :) I am going to feel bad for whoever loses-play great all week and come up a little bit short. Great showing either way, but they both want to win so bad.
 
Starting to look like destiny. Gomez has played three por racks in a row, but he's getting a roll every time he hits a ball poorly.
 
It's freezing here in D.C. Every morning about this time, 5:30, it gets FREEZING COLD now. Winter is right around the corner.

Gomez breaks, pockets a ball, and has to come with a trick shot to make the 1.
