Gomez fights back, leaving Peach a toughie. Gomez put a lot of spin on it to even hit the 1, but he made it.

Peach can see the 1, but can't pocket it. Commentators think Peach should play safety, leaving cueball hopefully snuggled up against the 2-rock. Instead, Peach makes another safety, leaving 1-ball up table with a whole lot of green. Gomez now snookered.

Daryl plays a brilliant safety. Gomez pulls out the jump cue, flails at the ball, and gets a very lucky, but effective safe. Daryl is in trouble again.
 
Peach up and down, up and down, makes a great carom of the 1 off the 7, I think. He can see the 2.

Peach plays safety again on the 2. Gomez can't see it.

If Daryl can get a shot, he can win it easily. He is the better player of the two right now. Gomez is a bundle of nervous energy, but he has made some MAJOR mistakes, and he has gotten away with nearly all of them. I have a feeling this match is gonna go hill-hill.
 
Doesn't everybody wanna see this go hill-hill with like a 20 minute safety battle in the case rack?
