OK You gave them all an ultimatum at one point. Just exactly what is the resolution you sought? Spell it out here, once and for all.

How is he wrong?You chose to take part in the raffle and he listed how it would be run,he said it would go off when all spots were filled,am I missing something?Why are you pissed off that a guy ran a raffle exactly how he said he was and did not scam anyone,what did he have to gain? :cool:

There were a few things that could have been done by the OP or the mods that would have stopped the my payapal dispute. I honestly didn't expect mr wilson to help out any since he has never been anything but rude to me.
Surprisingly this time he wasn't rude, just no help.

My original request was that we redraw the raffle with a posted date so we all know when it was going to happen. When that got shot down, I wanted my money back. Although there may have been no ill intent, the opportunity was there due to poor management of the raffle.

according to pimp, many members told him to give me back my money so this wouldn't happen. I do not know if that is true or not. You will have to ask him.

Of course him not being an @ss during the process would have helped too.

Nope....I would say that I won unfairly.

The winner "The Kurly One" probably saw the Powerball results...and didn't know himself if he had won or if the auction was going on for that night or not. He probably PMed pimp to see if he'd won or if other had not paid yet....I bet he was the winner was as much in the dark as the rest of us. Pimp ran the auction poorly...the winner wasn't even sure that he'd won until pimp posted that he'd won. I'D SAY THAT IS A POORLY RUN AUCTION!!! (Emphasized:thumbup: )

He said he was doing the drawing when all slots were filled and that's what happened. How was he to know when that last ticket would be sold???

I don't think pimp should give you back your money, for whatever amount, because it wouldn't be fair to everyone else who bought a raffle ticket and didn't win.

I said numerous times after it was too late that the money didn't matter anymore. You should read the 3 threads so you know whats going on.

P.S. I AGREE THAT A LITTLE MORE DIPLOMACY COULD HAVE BEEN USED IN THE RESOLUTION OF THIS MATTER, BUT YOU ARE STILL THROWING A HISSY FIT OVER 14 DOLLARS.

What has a poorly run raffle got to do with anything? You report fraud or theft, not a poorly run raffle.

Since you have no idea what you are talking about, why not just go away?

He knew when he got the last payment and he could have let all of us know. that is how all of the other raffles have been run, even the other raffles run by the same person.

IT WAS RUN AT THE FIRST DRAWING AFTER IT WAS FULL AND PAID....JUST LIKE HE SAID HE WOULD DO IT.

HAD HE NOT USED THAT LOTTO, HE WOULDN'T HAVE BEEN FOLLOWING THROUGH WITH HIS WORD.

I'M EMPHASIZING ALL OF THIS......

I HAD A LONG POST TYPED OUT, THAT INSULTED YOU. I'VE REALIZED THAT IT WON'T MAKE THIS ANY BETTER, SO I ERASED IT........ BUT YOU SHOULD LEARN HOW TO TALK/CORRESPOND WITH OTHER PEOPLE. THE GOLDEN RULE IS A WONDERFUL THING.

YOU HAVE NO IDEA WHAT YOU'RE TALKING ABOUT, MAYBE YOU SHOULD GO AWAY........ THE AUCTION WAS RUN USING THE FIRST DRAWING AFTER IT WAS FULL AND PAID, JUST LIKE IT SHOULD HAVE BEEN.

Thus far this has been determined: Pimp ran a raffle stating that when the last slot was sold he would use the Powerball to determine the winner. Whether he wrote "Power ball" or "Powerball" is inconsequential since there's only one anyway, and a 5-year-old could find it using google. All slots are available to see on the very first post of the thread, and are edited as they are sold.

So... why would he need to post a date for the drawing, especially when no person could foresee when it would end? If you're checking the thread anyway, just watch the empty slots fill up. The day the last slot is sold, he'll be holding the drawing. /duh
 
Hey BPG24, can I have your avatar when you go on your vacation ?? This is ridiculous to get upset about over $14, a chance at a Predator, and a not-to-the-letter "T" perfectly run raffle....for God's sake....regardless of whichever of you might be at fault pissing in the other's cereal over the poor communication. Please get a life....there are more important things to worry about. IMO you should consider spending your time being productive on something else.....geez.

Sean (doesn't particularly like raffles because they tend to mask how bad the cue market really is right now) :frown:

I have seen some unbelievably nitty moves in my life, but this one has to take the cake. I would expect these actions from a child and not from a grown adult. Your reasoning is so far out in left field it's hard to even comprehend.

Sure, Pimp could have done better by letting people know the exact raffle date, but in the end, by the statement he made in the original thread, he didn't have to. He clearly states that the drawing will take place once everyone has paid. Anyone that is old enough to read can comprehend that statement. Is is clear and to the point. Not ambiguous in any way, shape or form.

Unless he wants to provide a list of payments received for his paypal account, pimp and only pimp knows when all payments are received.

He edited the original post to show everyone paid by the date the winning powerball drawing was selected and which corresponds to the winning az members number.

We must remember this...Like everything else, You have to trust the raffler.

And finally, Grow up f up! :smile:
