WTB G. Szamboti Hoppe Cue

Good luck with your search!

Wow, nice find Berny!! I like the rings, I have not yet seen a Gus with these particularly. But I have never seen a Gus Szamboti with a croc wrap either...:frown:

Still, it is one super nice and classy looking cue!

Still Looking. The one that Berny found on the website isn't for sale according to the owner. I know in this time and age it will be hard to buy directly from the owner because of all the brokers. I will make this statement one time. If your a cue broker, and you want to sell me a cue, please make sure of the following.
#1 You actually have the cue in your possession.
#2 The price you quote is the same price or lower than what you have shoped out to other collectors or potential buyers. We are a small family and word gets around considering most of us are friends. **** you probaly would have sold the cue at what you were originally asking ****
#3 You describe the cue accurately

I don't think this is too much to ask for.

sad to hear ..............

I just ask about a week before and was told a price, but i was not able to effort the cue ..... hmm ... may the GUS should be removed from a "for sale side" if its not available ;)

Berny

one price for all!

i went to check on a high end cue i had heard about for $3800. when i talked to the guy it had a price tag of over $5000. goodbye to that cue for now, anyway!

This Gus belong to a good friends of mine who has a friend that wanted to move the cue....I don't know what the discussion is between you and the owner but I'm the one that listed the cue on my site (just helping out a friend). As far as I know, the cue is for sales but the owner is only taking offer and will sell if the price is right. Many of my clients oversea are waiting for a definite number and so far the offers to date doesn't interest the owner and I'm still waiting for a definite number from the owner.

Several numbers were submitted to me and I've thrown out range of number that I believe the owner may entertain but the offers to date doesn't interest the owner. I'm sure I may have throw out different numbers as offers are rejected. I did list the description in-correctly and the owner called and the information was corrected on my site.

In regards to the 3 items you listed:

1) If you were interested and had the right number that the owner would entertain...I don't think it would be too hard to arrange for the possession of the cue.

2) As I've mentioned, I've thrown out different numbers as I received new offers each time that the owner refused.. so the numbers will changed. The owner doesn't have a number in mind...I guess he believe this Gus to be worth a lot more than the offers that I've submitted. In all honesty, if I was the owner I may have already jumped on some of the offer.

3) This is my bad but again...the pictures has most of the detail in regards to description but again I'm sure the information would have been corrected if you had contacted me or the owner. Just been too busy and a little slow to make the correction on the site.

If you should have any questions please PM me.

Regards,
Duc.

The last Brazilian on Brazilian Gus I saw was 30K.

There are 3 on Rich's site ranging from 10-30k. The 30k one is pretty speziale'. Every rosewood Gus is pretty special and one can argue value till the cows come home as far as value.

I'd love to own any RW Gus
