Heya, guys.

It's been almost a year since I got 'back,' and I've played only once in that time...and had to borrow a cue to do so (Thanks, CMD!!!).

I'm inclined to give the game a go again, on a very limited basis...and I need a stick.

Those that know me know what I like...so hit me up with something that plays good, is straight, and won't require a second mortgage.

It's not going to get a ton of mileage...but ANY table time is good table time.

Prefer to deal with those that I've dealt with, POSITIVELY, in the past. Faith and trust in transactions goes a long way around here these days, from what I've seen.

Thanks, fellas. Hope everyone is doing well, and is prepped for the pool playing season!!!

Guess I have been gone TOO long....as my 'famous' specs list has been forgotten by most!!

Here's a ball-park description of what I'm after:

19.25 - 19.5 ounces
58"
12.75mm+ shaft(s)
Linen or wrapless (don't care for leather/lizard/croc/whale foreskin)
Prefer piloted steel joint, but flat-faced with a stiffer hit is also awesome.
STRAIGHT, SOUND, SOLID
Bumps and MINOR scrapes and such are fine. It's a player, not a showpiece. Just don't try to sell me a chewed up P.O.S. with more curves than Kate Upton.

Budget - reasonable. Not looking for heavy inlaid cues, or ivory this, that, and the other. Simple hustlers, PJs, and 4-pointers will be looked at seriously.

Thanks again, y'all.

Hey pal,

Welcome back! Been a while, for sure if people don't remember your list. How's the crew? I hope all are well. Rose says "Hey" and hugs all around.

Things have gotten a little tougher on the forum. If you don't have anything to buy or sell, they want you to do PMs only. That being said, I have this -R- cue for sale...:D

Good to see ya posting again!

Steve

P.S. Still into the ball pythons?

Out of sight out of mind except for the Kate Upton thing.
As far as cues are concerned, what is your preference for shaft taper

Who is Kate Upton? Is she/he playing with Gene?

Lost again

Ken
There she is:
Another reason to buy a cue..:)

Hola, sir!!!!

All is well, and I'm about as 'healed' as I can get...so sayeth the knife slingers at the hospital. My best to both you and Rose, sir.

You have an -R- cue? Really? Do tell!! :D :D :D

What's cracklin', sir?

No MOOCHIE whips, and no conical craziness.

Middle ground player's tapers are good by me.

I have several of these .

This was a Old 1 pc. cue , cut , and a new shaft built . Large original bumper replaced with a small bumper , drilled and taped for a weight bolt , and a G-10 pin installed. great shooter , very Pretty . Yes , I have more . Enjoy . Jim

Heya, fellas.

Lots of cue offers received...and very interested in a couple that fit my specs wish list...but looking for more options before I pull the trigger on a player.

In the interest of everyone 'involved,' I will put a budget cap of $400 on the price I am willing to pay for a cue. For those that offered great cues above that price point, thank you for your time...and several of you have incredible looking players for sale...but since I won't be fully engrossed in the game like I used to be, I figure a max of $400 will get my needs met.

Happy football Sunday to all.

any Viking fans.....

I've got an older Viking -- it kinda looks like an A110 from around 1983 -- not really sure but, it's a WICO three pointer; SS joint with 5/16-18 brass pin, linen wrap.

For you, I would ship it in a nice old school case with JP's for $275

Hi mark, glad your back safe and sound. Jamie just got a couple of Travis's full splice players in . Pretty simple sneeky style . I'm sure he'd hook you up . If you wanna spend a bit more I have one with veneers
