I'm looking for a decent player. I want to spend about $400 and get as much as possible in the way of a custom cue. I'm not terribly familiar with cuemakers and their history so I apologize in advance if it takes me awhile to make a final decision. I have to do all the research on the cues that are offered.

If you've got something that you are willing to part with in that price range send me some pics and offers.

I have a couple brand new Jim Pierce sneakies coming in this week and 2 plain janes coming in next week.

PM sent on this blackcreek

Here is a Steve Dunkel Custom full-splice. Kingwood or Cocobolo into Birds eye Maple.
Cue plays great with a stiff taper on the shaft.

Butt is 15.12 oz with 3/8 x 10 G10 flat faced joint.

Shaft is 3.73 oz 12.65mm, ivory ferrule with layered tip - stiff taper - shaft is 13mm 2 inches down from ferrule. I was told the ring work is ivory but I can't be sure.

I took this cue on trade and prefer wrapped cues. Very good condition with very little play.

This cue is a player, hits very solid and is dead straight. $300 shipped and insured in the CONUS - No Trades please

There is a second shaft that is small - 12mm at ferrule and 13mm 3 inches down from the ferrule. $350 if you want both shafts.

You should grab that BlackCreek. You might also look at a Darrin Hill or Carolina Custom as they are also nice cues for the money and could probably be had in your range.

I have this Kwikfire cue by Carolina Customs. This was the line built for Kelly Fisher of the WPBA. It is in excellent, very lightly played condition...4 veneers, rings at all positions, Emerald tip, 3/8x10 wood to wood joint, leather wrap The shaft has the very slightest of a taper roll...(very minor), which won't affect play, but it is there. It will come in under your budget, and it is a ton of cue for the money....weight at present is 18.5oz...weight can be added.

How do you feel about LD shafts (OB classic)? http://forums.azbilliards.com/showthread.php?t=240285&highlight=varney

I would do $400 shipped CONUS.

I also have a blackcreek cocobolo players cue w/linen wrap I would do for $400.

bump.....

still looking...

Seen some great looking cues. I just need one that really steps out in front of the others. Right now the Blackcreek is looking pretty good though.

This is a beautiful cue. If I was a female player it would be great.
