In the next couple of weeks I will be listing some really amazing cues. As of right now these are NOT for sale and just looking to TRADE. I'm going a different way with my collection here in 2012 and looking for specific cues. First off let me tell you what I'm looking for then I will tell you about this first group of cues I'm looking to trade. I'm looking for basic (EBONY) four pointers w/veneers NO INLAYS ! ! ! Cues need to be in 95+% condition with two full 13mm shafts or really close. 1st on my list would be B.Szamboti's, 2nd -John Showman, 3rd -Ron Haley, 4th - Hercek, 5th - TASC, 6th - (5pt)Ginacue. I really prefer to have the cue makers name stamped on the butt, I like to see the name SZAMBOTI & SHOWMAN on the butt caps. Ok, CUE #1 on my list the SW HAS BEEN TRADED. ALL (ORIGINAL) 1994 Jerry Franklin SouthWest, cactus/serial #/year on pin. Sorry can only post five pics here on AZ so I can send you emails with more pics of everything. Cue is a six pointer Cocobolo forearm & Cocobolo butt sleeve w/3veneers ! Cue comes with two original shafts both are 13mm+, One shaft is in 99% Mint unplayed condition, the other has had lite play. The great thing about this cue is that it is 19.8 oz, so hard to find these under 20oz and most off these have been refinished & rewrapped, this one is all 100% Jerry, total cue is in pristine 98% condition. CUE #2 HAS BEEN SOLD, THANKS PATRICK !!!!! is a 2010 Randy Mobley Ebony/Ebony with an Ivory Joint, Ivory butt Cap, Ivory/Silver ringwork at all positions, the picture in my avitar is the fancy matching joint caps, they are ivory tops with the lizard wrap on the sides that match the wrap on the cue. This cue has (245) Pure Silver Inlays, ringwork is all Ivory/Silver with diamonds & circles, double silver rings top/bottom with a Lizard Wrap. Comes with two original 13mm shafts w/Ivory ferrules. This cue weigh's just at about 19oz, both shafts are 3.9oz and this is a 60'inch cue in length. This has the RM in silver also, Ivory disks inside the shafts that say RM and under the bumper it is marked MOBLEY 2010 ! Cue #3 is an "Old School" Timmy Scruggs. Four pointer (Rosewood) w/ 4 veneers. This has a loaded butt sleeve with Ivory & Bem Inlays and ringwork through-out ! Fancy, custom ordered ringwork (BEM/Rosewood w/red veneers) at the joint collar and shaft collars. Two original shafts both are in MINT condition and full 13mm, this cue was not a player, came out of a private collection and was just a collectors cue, a "closet Queen" if you will. It is in ALL (ORIGINAL), PRISTINE condition. Cue weight is 16.1 oz on the butt. And shafts are 3.8 & 3.9 ! All three cues are dead straight together & apart. Please only contact me if you have any of the above cues and remember I'm looking for Ebony only, (4 pointer) with NO INLAYS, the only reason I'm parting with any of these cues is because of the wood combo's, just going a different way in my collection. Also I have (CASH) too so if you like one of my cues, I can do the balance in cash as well. Also If interested I can pair your cue up with a matching case, the Mobley has an all black Ron Thomas 1x2, the Scruggs has a matching Vintage Its George 1x2 and the SW has a "One of Kind" 2x4 Whitten with matching CoCobolo Inlays & a full CoCobolo top. Lets find me some cues AZer's, where are those Ebony four point Szamboti's & Showmans hidding ? Thanks so much. Dan

Love that TS....Wish I had something that interests you, but, sadly, I don't. Thanks for showing these off, great collection of some big cues!

Dan, letting these go already??

The Scruggs and the Southwest are both in stunning original condition and the Southwest is a monster player!! I was sad to see them go... but... Looking forward to the 'S' which should arrive later this week :)

Best of luck with your search... If I stumble across something in your list, I will be in touch about the Mobley!!

Cheers
Grant

Hey Grant, Dan ! Yeah, parting with some of my babies but hopefully will find a few gems in return to make me feel a little better. Hoping to add a couple more Szamboti's to the collection and then it will make it all worth wild. Its really weird I use to like all the different woods, Rosewood, CoCobolo, Bacote, Snakewood, ect but now just like the "Classic" Jet black Ebony cues. Not even into the heavy "Fancy" Inlaid cues anymore ???? I'm back playing again for starters, back in the leagues and doing the whole Vegas BCA thing in May at the Riviera and just like players cues, plain & basic. Yeah, keep your eyes out and let me know if you come up on any goodies for me. All my best and enjoy the (S). Dan

Thanks everyone ! The response has been overwhelming and its been great talking with everyone so far and trying to work out these trade deals. Really close on pulling the trigger on a couple of your cues, just want to make sure their aren't anymore players in the game. Bare with me the post hasn't even been up a full day yet. A total of (21) PM's and a lot of great cues out their. Thanks so much, Dan

Man.... That's an awesome South West!

It's too bad it's not for sale (Since I have nothing you'd be interested in trading for:grin:).

Good Luck with your trade search.

Thanks everyone again for all the trade offers on my SW, I slept on it and made my final decision today and went with a Barry Szamboti Ebony four point w/veneers hoppe. I've done business with this gentleman in the past, he's one of the best AZ'ers I've ever dealt with and always has the best cues. Thanks so much Don, Enjoy the SW buddy as I will the Szamboti.

Sout West

I have some great offers on both the Scruggs & Mobley, giving it another day and then pulling the trigger on something. Anybody else have anything to show me ? Any more NON fancy Ron Haley's out their or a Showman ? Thanks so much for all the PM's and great cues everybody has shown me. Dan

Thanks Bob & Tommy ! Yeah the SW was the first to go, and I'm making my final decision on the Mobley today. Have some very interesting trade offers, a couple of all cash offers and now at the last minute another very reputable AZ member might be in the mix. Anymore offers before this MOBLEY IS GONE ???? Thanks again for all your offers and great cues that I've seen. Dan

mobley has been sold !!!! Thanks everybody for all the great offers, didn't find the exact cue i wanted so in the end went with an all cash offer and how can you turn down a guy who wants to (fly) to me and pick the cue up in person. Thanks patrick.
