Hi,

Thank you for everyone's concern on the X Breaker and the company.

I am sorry I have been away from Az for a while, a lot have happened.

Please allow me to respond here regarding what me and the X Breaker company have been working on.

In the last 8 months, I have been working on a new tip and a new jump cue.

As most of you know, the original X tip is a very good tip for jumping. Thus, it has been a real challenge to come up with a jump cue that exceeds the performance of the X Breaker.

I always wanted to figure out a method to diffuse leather component into the X tip. I am not talking about drilling a hole and droping a few dust of leather in the tip; I am talking about a complete diffusion of leather in the tip compound.

Thanks to a recent breakthrough technology, we are able to introduce a new tip which is stronger than any other jump tips, while holding chalk even better than the original X tip with more friction thanks to the leather diffusion.

This new X2 tip will be featured on our brand new Xtreme Breaker jump cues to be debut in Valley Forge.

Many different prototypes of jump cues have been built and tested (the lightest jump cue prototype built only weighted 3.4 oz), with different weight and balance. There have been lots of tests, and feedback from pro players. I have finally decided on the current model which I will be debuting in Valley Forge.

There will be some testing shafts in Valley Forge with white diamond tip, canvas resin/sledgehammer tip installed to let you all judge for yourself the difference and benefit the new X2 tip can offer you.

It is my firm belief to allow my customers the chance to make an informed decision after they have tested and compared the X Breaker with other cues on the market.

Attached is a picture showing the new X2 tip side by side with the original X1 tip.

Once again, I am sorry I have been away from Az for a while, and I want to thank all those who have emailed me and have showed their support and concerns.

With the warmest regards,
Richard

The shaft is ash, on the jump cue.

Ash is known for its shock dampening ability (A lot of hammers use ash as the handle for this reason). Ash also has a "natural laminated" cross section, to add more "spine" to the shaft, with more stiffness. I do not personally like purpleheart, I find it a bit too heavy and lacks feedback, although it is very stiff.

We machined the black ferrule in the picture from a bowling ball.

The butt of the jump cue also features a special insertion core to reduce vibration.

My concept is not to just build a jump cue that is light with a tip that is hard--my objective is a jump cue which can perform effortlessly on both long and very close jump; with control and precision on both soft long and very hard high jumps.

Wow, the ferrule came from a bowling ball LOL

Cool tip, im sure the rest of the jump cue will be just as nice. Cant wait to test drive it at Valley forge.

See you soon Richard!

Richard,

Are you going to have just a jump cue or a jump/break cue?

Chris

Chris (TATE),

I will showcase a jump cue, and a jump break cue in Valley Forge.

They will both feature the new X2 tip.

This tip has about two times the strength of the Sledgehammer/Stinger, or other cues using the Canvas resin/phenolic tips, and it holds chalk much better than any phenolic tips on the market now. Because it is so much stronger, it is much easier to jump, and more powerful to break. These new jump cues are meant to offer the player very good control and precision on the full range of jump shots, not only very close jumps.

I will have a limited edition of X Breaker Jump/Break cue for Valley Forge. These are specially built for the Valley Forge show, and the design will not be duplicated in the future.

Please allow me to challenge all of you to test and compare my new jump cue against any other product on the market. I will be looking forward to your feedback.:)

Thank you.

Hey Richard, will you be selling just the shafts for previous X breaker owners?

Hi Nick and Ross, Thank you for your question.

First of all, my one year contract with Samsara is ending, I would like to take this opportunity to wish Samsara and Mike Gulyassy a very successful and positive partnership. Wish they both sell lots of cues in Valley Forge.

I am very excited about the new technology we are able to achieve, and I like to see more players taking advantage of our technology.

It is the greatest pleasure to see players winning games using their Xtreme Breaker. :) I am also very pleased to have Champions such as Ralf Souquet endorsing the X breaker.

To be able to offer our technology to a wider cross section is the main reason why I have decided to offer to the public a jump cue, with the new X2 tip. The X Breaker jump cue is now completed in my own shop in Canada.

Those who knows me and have dealt with me know that I will only offer my customers better products, with constant improvement. With the excellent workmanship of Samsara as our past benchmark, I have a great challenge but it is one which I am confident to exceed.

Please come to check out our new product in Valley Forge.:)

Thank you.
Richard

Hi Heath,

Yes, I will. The new shaft will come with the new X2 tip. Since you have owned two different generations X Breaker, I am sure you will be able to tell the difference with the additional power once you try the latest version.:)

The shaft on the X jump cue also fits on the X Breaker, so you can use both shafts if you want to, although the jump shaft is a stiffer shaft.:) The bowling ball ferrule is really hard.:) Our X2 tip is not harder than the cue ball, but the bowling ball ferrule is.:)

NEat read, Richard! I love to see the growth of a new business and how the business chooses to adapt and hopefully rise to the challenge of continual improvement.

I believe that the billiards industry could use more minds like yours!

Wow, that looks sweet Richard! Are these new ash shafts in the same weight region as the maple X-Breaker shafts? I really like the forward balance of my X-Breaker, the shaft I have on there now is 4.8 Oz. Also, will you be selling these shafts through your normal retailers or can I buy one direct?

gr. Dave

richard.. please make the lettering on your picture that you posted bigger.. i was trying to make out what it says on the left side.. but its near impossible to read...

thanks..

hey Richard

Glad to see your back posting. I will be very interested to see your new product firsthand in VF. Maybe we will get a chance to play again although I'm sure your be very busy selling cues and shafts.

See you soon

Sounds real good. When you are ready to roll, I want to order the new jump shaft for my x-breaker, and maybe the break shaft as well. Sounds like you've hit the "sweet spot" on a great jump cue and a great break cue combination.

Chris

Damn!!! I wish i could afford to try one of these break cues. I'm just a poor college student wishing I had time to put into my game. By the way what will the selling price of these cues be.
