You may be a cue maker if

It's common to get texts asking how the cue is coming?
And when will it be done :)

You have inspired me to change the name of my cues to "Roman Cues" with the by-line "Rome wasn't built in a day and neither will your cue be!"

better than being a make believe cue maker that doesnt sell anything....that really doesnt pay that well.

Put me on your list. Before you get over this" my cues are worthless state of mind". I am sure after posting some pictures in the other thread. Your pm box is full.

It does not matter how many times you tell him that, he just does not get it.
Then he says he does not have a photo booth setup to take pics of his cues
We need to give him Tylenol pm instead of ibuprofen, put him to sleep and snap some pics of his stuff.

I have doodled. What fond memories I have of doodles. As for selling cues, do you really have to sell them to be a cue maker? Can't I just keep them all?

cue maker

you have just had a shower, you are going to watch t.v. and relax, you put on some sweats and a knit shirt, then you get a real fuzzy feeling as you realize you got a shirt that has NO glue on it.

You may be a cue maker if:

You can never figure out where you put that butt rubber.

LOL
same here
did a custom cut trim job on one for a particular cue,
stuck it in my pocket so i WOULDNT lose it
it was in the washing machine

Or if you are like me....just cant ever seem to find the time to finish your own cue because you are making someone else one or working on them.

you might be a cue maker if you can part rings off at .005 with this set up sorry but this is the jeff eason way.

I've seen a couple of cuemakers get pretty creative with cues that didn't make the cut.

My favorites were a 4-point toilet plunger handle and a beer bottle opener with some slightly irregular inlays.

Who else has something creative from their collection of not-quite-rights?

that's a picture barenbrugge posted a few years ago when i asked what he was cutting rings with
meaning a parting tool or a sawblade,
and that's what he showed me!!
pretty clever i thought!!

You may be a CM if you open up two parts of epoxy material and it don't smell like stinky feet anymore!
