My daily player

Everyone's players are so nice. This one is a bit underwhelming, but I love it to death.

I used to play with my PJ Ebony Cog, but since I primarily play in APA, it's constantly under attack by swinging Players/Action cues.

I've had this dufferin for a bit, and it's old Canadian stock from a trade with another member a while ago. Recently then I had my cue guy taper the shaft to 12mm w/a billiard/pro taper combo, install a westinghouse Micarta ferrule, and a Kamui Medium tip. Also, the original butt was replaced with another 30 year old Dufferin butt in almost pristine condition, joints were faced to match. It improved the balance and shortened the cue to 57"

It ended up working for me better than my cog  ....Plus no one ever questions my Handicap anymore with my "house cue"

Never underestimate a proper old Dufferin...especially when it has been properly "tuned".

I like it!

My every day player is a Kevin Varney...love the hit. The BEM is sick, the purpleheart handle is perfect even though it was dyed black by the original owners request. Kevin really did an outstanding job on this cue. You gonna have to kill me to get this from my hands...lol.

Yes, it is your old cue but I did not acquire it from Don Sherman. This cue is monster player all around. Fit and finish is top notch. This is going in my keeper group.

Very cool, for a 2010, that cue get's around. I would have kept it, but I can't keep anything, lol.
