Recently when (very) bored I read a few Sue Grafton "alphabet" novels. In them there is a female PI character - Lindsey something or other. I always picture her as Maria Bello.

Having read Johnny's book, I would have to suggest ass-kicking/hustling look rather than pure hotness for the role.

i lived in the same building as Salma, 805 S.Wooster LA CA 90035 for 3 years til she moved, she had a white 5 series BMW and lived on the 3rd floor, I didnt know who she was until a few months before she moved in 95 maybe 96, My ex girlf friend the building manage knew here well, she is a ***** i sad to report, she is tiny but smikoing hott!!!! wow, i rode in the elevator with her many times never spoke to her other than "hi" she woulnt respond, she is one people who infulenced me, back then I was making $300,000/yr and I said to myself when I make it big I will never be like her, to good to talk to people, so I go out of my way to be nice, like when i spoke to BVal on the phone hell I kinda know him, now I do know him-great guy. Being a holy than thou ***** aint doing her any favors.

I too have enjoyed all your books John. I can visualize Drew Barrymore,
as Corina, and Cameron Diaz as Jill. Will work for free to instruct either
one in pool (up to 2 years)

As far as your question about Jennifer Chen, she does speak conversational English fluently. She briefly lived in L.A. at one time and I believe her roommate taught her English.
