This is a self service post,,,,,,but I am looking for a little help. What are the really good buys are out there for around 1500 bucks or less even? This week I just sold some equipment that was just takin up space so I now have a little play money. Thanks for your insight and opinions. Wyld78

biased but..

That's easy my Olney for $800. Then you'd have $700 left over to do something else with. Like keep the misses happy.

you could get a banged up 6 point SW or a one shaft SW for $1700-$1800 if you look.for an extra $200 or so it would be a good investment.

I would get something like this or this

I hope that you, Martin, don't mind posting me this. One of these are what I would get and I still had money to buy a nice j/b or an even nicer case.

I sent you a PM too.

for this money you could get a bluegrass with points if you are searching.
Perfect player and good investment, will not loose its value.

Man,
I must have been asleep for a while or too new to this board. Who is Martin??? Are those cues you linked to for sale or what? I would have to go with you on this if those cues are available.. I would like to get some of that...

Please point the way.
Larry

I'd suggest you get a Meucci, McDermott, Lucasi, Players, Adams, Viking, and Fury... that way you can easily divest your funds and have a different cue for every day of the week!

Anything Andy Gilbert 6-months 925.00 two shafts

Bought andy gilbert cue plays all gams great At hopkins Trade Show. If I had 1500. Gilbert is the man Id even give a little more 2000. Gilbert even plays some order cue and if you can play play him one pocket for a 100 and he'll smile and quit and your cue will be worth double in no time best bang for the buck

I'd look for a Chudy, Scruggs/Cochran, or Mottey/White. Each build great playing cues that hold their value fairly well.

thanks for the link Bells. I appreciate it! you are right, my Capone is priced very fair and is a beautiful cue. well worth the asking price
